Just for fun, no challenge, just wanted to play with this awesome Graphic 45 paper!!
very hard to see but there are alot of techniques here, the teapot has diamond glaze on it to make it look like glass, along with the red queen's earrings and necklace, the vines, roses spider web and flowers have stickles on them, the pumpkins and Alice's hat have the new tattered angels glimmer glaze, Alice's dress and the Cheshire cat have oerfect pearls, and then the extra layers I cut out and glued an extra layer of paper onto Alice's apron, the lower flowers, and leaves and the tree leaves up top and lastly embellished with the key hole and spider. Much fun to create!!

Rough as Hockey
Well, over at Twisted Sketches we had to do a "rough" page, and I thot to myself... it doesn't get any rougher than Hockey! So here you go..... my sketch with a rough edge :-) my scanner is a tad short so the bottom hockey sticks got cut off...:-(
Kickin in LaCrosse
Here is a combo for 2 challenges, Sketchy thursday with the above sketch, I hardly deviated from this one at all?? unlike me lol and then the "recipe" to use buttons, punched borders and at least 2 patterned papers is from The Pink Elephant
so that's my take :-)

Haha pay attention
This is the REAL page! Haha I guess I should promise to pay attention. After I had posted this page on a blog for a challenge... I realized it was supposed to be all done in Aqua, black and white... it was to late to get the page back, so I quickly ran to photo shop and tried to change the colors as best I could... anyway, this is the page in all it's glorious original colors!! I will read before posting next time!
Stampede
Well, the Calgary Stampede has come and gone, the Cowboy hats are all safely nestled away. Now it's time to scrapbook the fun! The ads this year that ran for the Stampede were ingenious, there was a silent cowboy that went around town making you say "I Promise to" something Cowboy-ish :-) I made a new word! Anyway, I took the ad campaign and had some fun with my pages. But alas when you are doing a whole book, you run out of ideas sometimes... so I went to my trusty challenge blogs for some inspiration. A couple of the sketches I turned on their sides, and one I reversed.... but that's the whole point of a sketch isn't it? See it and interpret it your own way... so here you go, a few pages from my Stampede 2010 scrapbook :-)

Texture in Wonderland
I don't know why I do this to myself, I pick the busiest paper, that is too cool to cover up, and then I try and squeeze some photos onto it!?? Anyway, my daughter had a tea party for her 16th birthday, and then Graphic 45 came out with Halloween in wonderland.... so... I just HAD to use it for her party. I printed on transparencies, used some Prima bling, a key from, I think Tim Holtz? and sepia'd like crazy to get washed out antiquey looking photos, busy yes ( seems to be my usual lately ) but fun :-) like the party!
There are PLENTY of textures here, hard to see but the cards are all different levels too, this was my challenge for http://www.twistedsketches.com/2010/07/twisted-sketch-058.html
Exciting day today!!

Heritage Beach with Graphic 45
This is my Heritage page for
and http://www.twistedsketches.com/2010/07/twisted-sketch-057.html Now, I know it's a busy page, and I Love and Hate Graphic 45 for the same reason... they're pages are so beautiful I don't want to cover them up..... so it makes it very hard NOT to have a busy page! But here goes anyway.... this is one of my favorite pictures of my Aunty Ritchie... she is just a little teen here, and all her older brothers friends surrounded her on the dock.... she's very popular! and oh so CUTE!!

Twinkle Twinkle
Wow it has been awhile since I posted last on this blog! I made a farewell card today, and while I was uploading pictures, I checked out the latest challenges. Here is my card that fits this challenge. http://aliceinwonderlandchallenge.blogspot.com/ for the twinkle part, I have some bling and the flowers, although hard to see, are sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The edge is a diecut from the wonderful Tim Holtz Sizzix line, and one of my all time favorite stamps is colored with copic markers.

Somber Shakespeare
Well, I finally have my scrapbook area workable again after TWICE moving it to different rooms! Whew.... that was a chore, now down to work..... YIKES, this was a tough challenge, thanx for putting the link for Shakespeare up because I was baffled! I still could only come up with a "Daniel Torrente " version of Julliette! But it was fun :-) Once again Macabre Monday makes you put your (twisted) thinking cap on! OOps I just realized I spelt Juliet wrong... my faux pas!!
