Father's day card June 4th with Pat

Class: South store “Fathers Day”  grab and go card by Pat Metner Date: Available June 4, 2021 @ south store, can ship North. Kits are made using Ciabella paper pack “Delta” No two cards the same pattern paper but still stunning. You will receive all the pieces to complete this card, or change it up with more bling or dress it down for the manly man. You can even use pictures of the kids for this awesome Fathers Day Dad. Included in the kit is all the pieces to make this tent card, instructions with drawn pictures and even the burlap wraparound if you chose. All you need is glue. Soak Up the Sun Grab n Go Cards with Crystal June 11th North or South

Description: 

Bask in the sun as you complete three stunning cards that feature Tim Holtz colorized critters on backgrounds created using Lawn Fawn Dies. These colorized critters have only a few layers so they are a perfect project to introduce you to the world of colorized dies. Each kit comes with envelopes and layer-by-layer, easy to follow, colored instructions to make putting these cards together a breeze. These are already available for pick up at the North Store but can be shipped to the South Store for pick up as well. 

Crystal would suggest having a pair of tweezers, a jewel picker/embellishment wand, and liquid glue with a fine tip applicator to complete these cards. Crystal and Lagoon stickles and Ebony Nuvo drops are optional finishing touches.

NAPKIN ART “Elephant” with Kerri-Ann June 22

This is a great class for beginners who want to dip their toes in mixed media but it’s also lots of fun for

the experienced crafter.  Napkin art is perfect for a traveler’s style notebook such as the Dylusions Dylog Insert Book.  It’s just the right size (and a great place to keep all your future masterpieces)!  Don’t have a notebook/journal? No problem, you can do the project on a plain piece of cardstock.

This mixed media project uses two different decorative napkins and features a Ciao Bella stencil (Lanterns), Dylusions stamps (Inbetweenies & Old is the New Black) and a Tim Holtz stamp (Slate & Stone).

 

When you pick up your class kit, it will contain a list of products you will need to have on hand in order to complete the class.  You will receive an email TWO days prior to the class with an invitation to the live ZOOM meeting and PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP.  If you are unable to attend the ZOOM meeting at the scheduled time, you will be able to watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience.

Bee-U-tiful Take and Make with Monica June 3-4 North Store

 Hello Everyone!

Your Take n Make project for this week is a "Bee-u-tiful" little card suitable for any occasion with a bit of  a surprise.   The top of the honey jar pulls up for you to add a little sentiment of your own.  The only thing you need to complete the card is double sided foam tape, a yellow marker and a bit of Distress Ink for edging.

Take and Make with Melody June 3,North or South

 

Imagine the possibilities! This card can be used for any occasion.   It has many layers using a number of different die cuts on top of an embossed background. A little inking around the edges of the card and up the sides of the tree trunks gives it dimension too.  You will need a brown ink and a white ink (if you choose to make the embossed trees stand out a little more) and a liquid adhesive to assemble this card. Please e-mail Melody at youngmelody13@gmail.com with the number of kits you would like and which store you would prefer to pick up at. You can pick up the kits starting June 3 at 10:00 am from the North store or 3:30 from the South store. Please remember to bring $5.00 cash for each kit when picking up, or you can e-transfer directly to Melody. ‌

Junk Journal with Holly

 

Well its official, the junk journal class is a go.  This journal is so full of goodness.  You will have an opportunity to make this “your own” as you add some of your own personal touches.  Using old jewelry, lace, fabric etc.  You will get everything to complete the journal itself but I will show you other things you can add.  I will show you some fun additions that Blue fern taught us at Creativation 2020.   Cost for this class is $75.  Date July 24 weekend.  Its hard to pin point things at this time but...... it will be in the classroom 10 peep Sat and 10 Sun...... or all by Zoom on Sat......or Sat half in the class half Zoom.  All you need to know at this point is that you are free on that weekend.  I have my finger crossed that I will be able to come out and teach this in person! Technique Art Journal Class with Sarah July 10 South

 

NEW CLASS NEW TEACHER! We welcome the talented Sarah to our teaching staff! She will introduce a "How to" with gesso in case you have wondered but been afraid to try! In this technique based class, students will learn the benefits of using gesso on art journal pages. We will create a page using the reverse stencil method and collaged stamped images to make a focal point. A bonus page will also be created during class.   Kits will include a bottle of Dina Wakley Gesso, geli printed deli papers, dictionary papers, one sheet of Tim Holtz heavy mixed media cardstock and one sheet of Dylusions mixed media paper.   Materials needed for class: collage medium or matte gel medium, paint brush, baby wipes, acrylic paints (Sarah used Dina Wakley acrylics but any acrylic paints will work), black posca pen or thin black pen, stencils and stamps. Sarah used Dina Wakley Scribbly Women but any stamps will work. Saturday July 10 from 1:00-3:00 pm  Cost for the class is $25 which includes the kit. This Z-FOLD Card is designed to be an all-occasion card, using The Graphic 45 "BLOSSOM" paper collection, plus a butterfly stamp, from a previous Vicki Boutin Storyteller line.  Your kit will contain everything to complete your card, including a white Oval diecut, that you can stamp your own sentiment on as desired.  Kits will vary.....depending on which paper was used for your card.( Brief instructions and a  photo will also be included.)

Buttercream Stencil Zoom Class & Kit with Lyndsey June 26 SOUTH

 

Hello Ladies! Have you wanted to play with the glorious ButterCream Pastes that Selena and Dianne have demonstrated, but were too nervous to do it yourself? Well this is the class for you!!! I have assembled all of the product, and put it into a kit, and we will get together via Zoom to play together! This is so much fun! As you can see, all of the product is included. All you need to have on hand is a palate knife, a paint brush, a spray bottle of water, and a pan of water (large enough to hold your stencil). PLEASE CHOOSE CLASS A, B, or C, when calling in we have limited kits on each class so if you want a specific kit call early :-) The Zoom class will be available to re-watch over and over after the class is done. Take and Make with Holly Happy Monday everyone. Wow! That's all I can say. Last months Tool bench make and take beat all my expectations. I had an overwhelming response and prepped over 200 kits. I apologize to those who where missing a piece. Email me and I will mail you the piece you were missing. I asked myself if I could top last months card? You be the judge! Unfortunately I am limited on the flower paper I used on this one, so I am limited on the number of kits as well. This kit does have some fussy cutting in it. (Sorry) This card can fit a 6 x 6 envelope or fold it in on itself and fit a 3 x 6  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to let me know how many kits and which store for pick up As always we can mail the kits to you at a cost of $5 plus $5 for postage.
