Hockey Night in Canada

It is the season..... and since I am always doing flowery, girlie pages I decided to rough it up a bit and do some Hockey!
This was kinda fun, cut the words, or a picture or any embellishment into strips and glue them back together, pop it up and I have a kewl page add on!
I have lots of girl stuff to scrap, so for boys I was at a loss.... random eyelets seemed to play out as a good idea! I sprayed black and white glimmer mist on the back page to give it some dimension, and glitter.... I was trying to make it look like ice lol, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Have a great Tuesday everyone! Head on over to Scrapbooker's Paradise to see the complete list of supplies.

Glimmer Mist featured product

Hello All! It's time for a new featured product. Between March 15th and March 31st 2012, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ( excluding new colors) is the featured product and will be available for the
special price of $7.50 ( regular $8.99 )
If you are ordering online, please quote FIGM in the comments section of your order.
Glimmer Mists come in a wide selection of beautiful colors.

Before I get onto the Glimmer Mist, I thot I would answer a question that I get asked daily. " What do I do with chip board?" Here are just a few ways to accent your chip board....
I have cut out a few flowers and flourishes with the Tim Holtz dies, elegant flourishes and tattered florals.
I cut out a patterened piece of paper ( Glitz in this case ) and glued it to the chipboard flourish with zig 2 way glue.
the next one I used Distress ink to color the flourish
you can add different colors, or spray it with water to give it more of a distressed look.
this one I embossed
and then inked with distress ink
heat embossed with shiny gold
heat embossed with shabby taupe
after inking it I added glossy accents
or stickles
and last but not least I sprayed it with glimmer mist. There are a few ideas to to color your chip board, there are many many more!
Here is where I used a few of my glimmer misted swirls.
