Prismacolor Pencils Only Class with Shari January 21

 

Are you looking for a new coloring medium and just happen to have a set of Prismacolor Premier Pencils just laying around collecting dust?  Or did you buy the Prismacolor pencils to use with your Copic colored images, and now want to learn how to color with just the pencils?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, then Shari is going to be back in January teaching you to use your Prismacolor pencils to make three beautiful cards!!!  You'll be coloring an adorable Penny Black image on Kraft paper, a Stamping Bella image on Mi-Teintes paper, and finally Shari has listened to your requests and has designed a sympathy card using a Penny Black image.  Come and join in the fun!

 

Class limit is set at 12 only, so don't delay in signing up for this class.

Happy Monday Ladies. Thanks to all the ladies who came out to our annual November Crop, it really was a lot of fun.

Happy Monday everyone.  Welcome to October! 

 Wow, where did summer go?
Please join me this Thursday to once again play with the distress Oxides.  (I totally forgot to make a thanks giving card sorry).
Please bring you craft mat with you this week

 and the following oxides, if you have them.
Fossilized amber, worn lipstick and twisted citron. 

I will have mine there but a few extras will help move things along.
As always if you can't make a class I am more than happy to prep a kit for you.  Going forward I am changing the price for these kits. 

 (Only the ones I prep for those who can't attend.).

 I spend a lot of time after the class to die cut stamp

 and fold these kits.  The cost will be $5 per kit.

Another successful carnival. Thank you to all who stopped by our booth.  We survived the frigid day on Friday and Sat was beautiful.  Thankyou to Maureen and Teresa for bringing coffee to warm us up.

Naked Album with Holly June 17

SHORT NOTICE

This album has been so popular and fun to do.  I Have 7 spots available for Sat June 17.  If you have been thinking of doing this album, now is the time.  I will be doing the HIGH TIDE album that day and as it is not a full class I can offer the naked album to be done in the morning while the High Tide class is doing this part.

For anyone who was interested in the High Tide Album but wanted different paper, this class is for you.  In this class we will complete this album in either white, black or kraft/brown.  You can then add the pattern paper of your choice in the theme of your choice at your own time.  

I will have a few completed albums for you to look at and get ideas for completing your own album.

The date of this class is May 16th @ 5pm.  It will take about four hours to complete the album.

For this class Shari has designed three wonderful cards that you will be building, and then finishing off with an image you have colored yourself with your markers.  After your images are colored, you will be shown how to add depth and highlights with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol ( this is optional, the cards are wonderful without this extra step ). The cards for this class are being designed right now, and may include something to do with a big party that Calgary has every July!!!   For a hint take a close look at the photo!!  Shari will be guiding you through any techniques that are new to you.

Please bring your basic supply list (see top of newsletter for the list), Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

 In this class you will create the album from Chipboard, craft tex, tyvex and cardstock.  The Album contains 6 mini albums.  We will be using the Kaisercrafts High tide paper.
