Happy Monday Crafty friends.   So excited to be able to do two make and takes in a row in Calgary.  This week I will be in the North Store.  We will create a fun fold card with flower details.   Email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm.   The cost is $5 per card kit and you can pay at class.  If you would like a kit saved for pick up or mail out the cost is prepaid by etransfer to holllyth@shaw.ca. I can't believe its been 6 weeks since I last visited Calgary. I was asked to do a Make and Take at the south store this visit so here it is.  This card is a cute birthday card with a fun fold flower element.

Happy Monday Crafty friends.  So excited to be able to teach the make and take in person in the north store, this week.   I have created this fun pop up slider card with a coffee theme, because that's what we will be doing, sharing coffee.  You can add a gift card to the inside if you want. Welcome to July and the next stage of the reopening. It is official that we can have classes now. I am planning a trip to Calgary toward the end of July and Selena and staff have graciously allowed me the privilege of doing the make and take in person on July 22. We will have to do the sign up the way we did it before Covid. You will need to book your spot at 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm. For those who are not yet comfortable coming into the classroom I will still prep your kit and you can pick up at the store. (Or have it mailed) 

You will still need to email me @hollyth@shaw.ca 

before July 15 to let me know so I have time to prep your kit before I leave Kelowna.

Junk Journal with Holly

 

Well its official, the junk journal class is a go.  This journal is so full of goodness.  You will have an opportunity to make this “your own” as you add some of your own personal touches.  Using old jewelry, lace, fabric etc.  You will get everything to complete the journal itself but I will show you other things you can add.  I will show you some fun additions that Blue fern taught us at Creativation 2020.   Cost for this class is $75.  Date July 24 weekend.  Its hard to pin point things at this time but...... it will be in the classroom 10 peep Sat and 10 Sun...... or all by Zoom on Sat......or Sat half in the class half Zoom.  All you need to know at this point is that you are free on that weekend.  I have my finger crossed that I will be able to come out and teach this in person! Take and Make with Holly Happy Monday everyone. Wow! That's all I can say. Last months Tool bench make and take beat all my expectations. I had an overwhelming response and prepped over 200 kits. I apologize to those who where missing a piece. Email me and I will mail you the piece you were missing. I asked myself if I could top last months card? You be the judge! Unfortunately I am limited on the flower paper I used on this one, so I am limited on the number of kits as well. This kit does have some fussy cutting in it. (Sorry) This card can fit a 6 x 6 envelope or fold it in on itself and fit a 3 x 6  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to let me know how many kits and which store for pick up As always we can mail the kits to you at a cost of $5 plus $5 for postage. When you pick up your kits its best to bring cash if at all possible. I will do the FB live at 1pm on June 17 for anyone who wants to follow along. Happy crafting everyone

This is not a sign up class yet Holly just would like to know who is interested please email her, when we have the complete list we will post for sign up :-) Hello my crafty friends. How I have missed teaching!! As many of you may remember, Selena and I took the Junk journal class with Blue Fern studios at Creativation last year and made this awesome journal. Due to Covid I was unable to recreate this with you. But I have now received all the paper and goodies to start prepping kits. I am hoping early June to be able to visit Calgary and teach this awesome class, barring that, I will teach it by Zoom. I have LIMITED kits, so would like to know how much interest there is in this class. The cost will be between $75 and $80. ( I still need to purchase fabric and ribbon). The journal is on display at the north store. It will have different fabric lace and ribbon. Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to let me know if you are interested. No commitment yet, just want to if you are at all interested. Those who email me now will have first chance at a spot when I post the class.

Take and Make with Holly Facebook Live on April 26th

 Happy Monday my Crafty friends. 

 Thank you for all the wonderful messages and emails after my last facebook live.  I think I am getting the hang of it.  Although I prefer in person or at least virtually in the classroom.

My next make and take is one that has been requested.  This is a fun 3D card with....of course butterflies.  I will do facebook live on April 26 so everyone will have time to pick up the kits.  I will also have colored step by step instructions to help assemble your cards.  Email hollyth@shaw.ca to reserve your kit(s) Cost is $5 per kit.   Please let me know how many and whether pick up will be at the North or South store.  It is best to bring cash when you come in to pick up.

I sincerely hope that as we enter a new month, we will once again be able to visit virtually in the classroom.   I miss seeing all my friends and I am feeling the distance.
Hopefully this months make and take will remind you that spring is in the air and one day soon this will all “blow” over!!
With this make and take you will need broken china Tim Holtz ink (or a blue of your choice). And a magnet.  You will get the instructions on where to score your kite and how to assemble your card.

Happy Monday my crafty friends. Its so nice to meet with you virtually during these uncertain time. It makes me so happy to see all the smiling faces and share my creative passion. Wow Novembers make and take was a popular one.  I think it was a record for the most kits I have ever prepared. Dec 17 is my next virtual Make and take. I figure we will be ready to move away from wintery cards and create a fun 3D birthday/all Occasion card.  The colors in the kits will vary. As mail will be moving slower during Dec, I will have to send kits by Dec 7 to be sure they arrive in time for class. As always kits are available for pick up or to be mailed out. You will need to supply your own battery tea lights. There are different background papers in the kits. Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm. Let me know how many kits you would like. ( 1 card per kit )

We can only have 6 in the class room each hour due to Covid guidelines. So sign up early so there are no disappointments. You will need to sign up before Nov 12 so I have time to mail the kits to the store. The cost is $5 per card. As always if you prefer to do Take and Make let me know and I will have the kits ready for pickup or mail out on or after the 19th of November.

Make and Take VIRTUALLY Virtual with Holly the "Hollygram!!" Its time for another VIRTUAL make and take with Holly. OCT 22 is the next virtual make and take. This interactive, pop up, floating, fall card is fun and easy to assemble. If you feel more comfortable with take and make, I will include assembly instructions and the kits can be picked up anytime after Oct 22.  You can begin signing up this week and into next week. LAST DAY TO SIGN UP WILL BE OCTOBER 15.
