This weeks make and take is a total surprise lol.  I realized too late that I needed a Mother's Day card for this week, and I didn't have time after our crop weekend to finish my card.  It will be a Mother's Day card that can be easily switched to be a birthday card.

WATERCOLOR CARDS and TAGS WORKSHOP   Dianne will be teaching you to use both Tombows and Distress Stains to create these beautiful watercolor cards!!! These are mostly the BRAND NEW PENNY BLACK stamps!!! We will be making matching tags as well! Once the cards are made you will be welcome to make more tags ad Dianne will bring extra supplies so you can create as many tags as time allows! Prismacolor Pencils Only Class th Shari April 30 & May 4

Are you looking for a new coloring medium and just happen to have a set of Prismacolor Premier Pencils just laying around collecting dust?  Or did you buy the Prismacolor pencils to use with your Copic colored images, and now want to learn how to color with just the pencils?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, then Shari is going to be back in April and May teaching you to use your Prismacolor pencils to make three beautiful cards!!!  You'll be coloring an adorable Christmas themed card using a Stamping Bella image, an age appropriate card from Art Impressions, and a third card featuring animals from Avery Elle to make a pet sympathy card ( please note that the animals will be interchangable so you can select one or more for your card ).  Come and join in the fun!

 

Class limit is set at 12 only, so don't delay in signing up for this class.

Yay I think Spring has finally found us!!!   Come to Make and Take this Thursday and try this layered stamping technique.  The ink colors we are using are stormy sky, salty ocean, and faded jeans.

Copics and Prismacolor Pencils Class **Intermediate/Advanced class   Here's another set of three beautiful cards from Shari that use Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to color the images ( the use of Prismacolor pencils is optional as the cards look lovely without the addition ).  The cards for this class will all be from Stamping Bella - a beautiful marigold girl (as pictured), a violet girl, and lastly one of the newest Stamping Bella butterfly girls. Welcome to the second class in a series of classes we hope to offer at the store. Join in for all pages or just the ones you like.

 Have you purchased a mixed media journal only to stare at the blank pages not knowing where to start? Maybe you have started and just want to add some new techniques to your journal. Or maybe you have seen others do one and have wanted to start your own. Well this is the class for you. Crystal will walk you through step by step to create a beautiful double page layout featuring Dylusions paints, Tim Holtz stamps, texture glitter paste, stencils, Faber Castile big brush markers, distress resist spray, and so much more. 

You can bring your own journal or Selena can order in a 5"x8" Dylusions journal for $20.25 plus tax. Just let her know when you sign up for the class. We are hoping to make this into a monthly class depending on interest. So come have some fun and get inky.

Beyond Copics 101 with Shari May 4

Basic/Intermediate level

Many of you are wanting to take your Copic coloring to the next level.  If you loved what you learned in the Copics Basic class, or are just wanting to learn to blend and color with your own Copic collection, or maybe it's been awhile since you picked up your pens, then this is the class for you.  In this class Shari will show you how to blend whites to make clouds and a stork, plus how to color beards.  You'll practice blending colors to get realistic shadows and highlights while completing three wonderful cards.  Two of the cards feature some of the adorable new release images from Stamping Bella, and the third card is to celebrate the addition of a new baby ( non- gender colors so you can use for a boy or a girl ).  Come and join Shari in an evening of fun and coloring!!
