what about the newest Stamping Bella Bee themed images from their latest release? Whether you have seen all of them or not, Shari has, and she just had to combine the two together to create three adorable Bee themed Copic colored cards. Join Shari for a fun day of coloring the three bees with your Copic markers, and then build some wonderful cards to display your finished pieces of art. You will receive full written instructions to build your cards, along with full color photocopies of the cards to take home with you. Come and join Shari in this Bee inspired class, and hone your coloring skills.  A supply list, including a list of required Copics, will be emailed to you a couple of days before the class.

Butterfly Garden Layered Card Class with Shari, May 6, South

 

Who loves using multiple layers on cards?  Who loves butterflies and beautiful spring colors?  If you are waiting patiently for spring to arrive, along with the colors and butterflies that come with the warmer weather, then this is the class for you.  Shari has taken Paper Rose's new line "Butterfly Garden" paper and matching diecuts, and created five fabulous cards that will make any recipient smile!  Using 12 sheets of 6 x 6 paper and a full pack of die-cuts, plus multiple Pink Fresh Essential dies, Tonic Mirror cardstock, and lots of foam tape, Shari will guide through building layers upon layers of beauty.  The extra bonus is that you will go home with lots of left over die-cuts and paper, that you can then use to create cards of your own. 

You will need to bring your scissors, paper trimmer, liquid adhesive, tape runner or equivalent, and lots of foam tape, including the thin strips, to complete the cards as shown.  If you have a paper shaper(stylus) for forming flowers and wish to bring it to class, please do.

Do you love paper dolls? Have you wondered how to use them? Several techniques will be shown.  In this class, you will pick 6 paper dolls(Tim Holtz, Ideology), paint them with alcohol inks, and then make cards similar to the three shown.

 

Supplies:

Make sure you bring the regular supply list plus alcohol inks and dye inks.

The ‘Thank You Card Gift Pack’ with Kathy April 6, N

As per your requests! The ‘Thank You Card Gift Pack’ using Farm Meadows paper from Craft Consortium is here! Beautiful floral designs perfect for spring time cards with a tidy little folder to hold everything together. 

Each participant will receive enough pre-cut paper to complete six, A2 cards, and the folder, as well as six envelopes, ephemera, enamel dots and ribbon to enhance them.

Because this is my first class, I have room for only 6 participants and NO take home kits. The kits are to be completed in-class only.

What you will need to bring:

- score board, cutting tool, tacky and fine tip glue, Sookwang tape 1/8" or 1/4" and/or 2 sided mounting squares, pencil, ruler, scissors for fussy cutting one or two small items

Optional items: Ink pads in the following colors - Brushed Corduroy, Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Shaded Lilac, Speckled Egg, Victorian Velvet.  These can be used to put an edge around the pattern paper, but they aren't required.

 Stencils and Pastes Card Class

 

Have you pastes at home that you have never used?  Stencils that you have only used once?  Pastes add dimension and texture. Stencils make beautiful backgrounds and/or scenes.  You will be making cards similar to the ones shown. Paper and embellishments provided.

 

Supplies:

Bring your own pastes and dye inks.  The regular list  of supplies is needed. If you do not have any pastes I suggest Ranger Texture Paste Opaque Matte.  Any dye inks will work. I used Distress: flamingo and festive berry.

Butterflies and flowers, what could be better for Easter?  Let's have more fun with alcohol ink using the lift off technique to create 4 beautiful Easter cards. During this class you will learn how to de-ink an alcohol ink background for a totally new look, then add some die cut pieces for dimension and beauty. You will also learn how to curl your flower petals to add dimension. New to alcohol ink-- do not worry I keep it simple. Already using alcohol inks -come and learn how I do it.

 

 The dies I am using are:  Sizzix thinlits: Detailed Butterflies, Tattered Flowers, Circle Die Set

The stamps I am using are: Stampers Anonymous: Tapestry, Sizzix Bold Alphabet.

 

Supplies: Alcohol Inks, I like the Ranger brand but bring any other brand that you have. Colors:  Sunshine yellow, Valencia orange. If you have a small stylus tool please bring it to class. If you have the Tim Holts Sizzix shaping kit, please bring it. The kit makes the shaping incredibly easy.

You can use my alcohol lift-ink Pad during the class.

 

The first flower and butterfly are included and you will make your own in class.

So, Shari has designed four cards already for this class, and is working on a fifth!  The twist - you get to choose which 3 cards you want to do in the class!!! Yes you read that right!  YOU get to choose which 3 cards of the 5 you will make in the class.  Shari has designed these cards so that you get to play with different mediums, stamps, stencils, Distress inks and more.  So far the cards feature stamps from Hero Arts, Impression Obsession, Woodware, Stamping Bella, Pink Ink, and the final card will feature a Stampendous Gnome stamp. Watch the Scrapendipity Customer corner on Facebook as Shari will post the fifth card as soon as possible. This class is full of coloring and  techniques, so the classroom has been booked for 4 hours!! Deadline to order your choice of the 3 cards is Tuesday, March 9th to give Shari time to get your kits ready. Due to the amount of in class techniques needed to complete the cards, this is only an in store class, kits will not be available to take home.

Retro Lawn Fawn Class with Crystal February 28 N

Crystal's favorite thing to do is mix-up two favorite brands to make fun and quirky cards. In this class we will create three retro cute cards featuring Elizabeth Craft's Retro Bus and some of Lawn Fawn's cute critters. We will also be learning how to incorporate wax seals into our cards. Galaxy Card Class with Nancy February 23 N

Let's have fun with alcohol inks. Create 3 brilliant galaxies!  Such vibrant backgrounds!

During this class, you will make 1 slimline and 2  regular cards-5 1/2 by 4 1/4.  We will explore using alcohol inks with an easy Press technique inspired by Jennifer Maguire. The dies I am using are Fancy Mushroom and Ferns by Hero Arts and the stamps are Wonderful World by I -crafter.

Supplies: Alcohol Inks and Blending solution. I like the Ranger brand but bring any other brand that you have. Nuvo glitter drops(white blizzard) or any glitter drops you have 

Colors: Indigo, Boysenberry, Alloy Stirling, Sunshine yellow, limeade, gumball, aquamarine.

Black stamping pad Jet Black. New to alcohol ink-- do not worry I keep it simple.
