Game day at the store !

 Fun new event with Shenanigames :-) Games will be played, new friends will be found and fun will be had! Once a month we will host a game afternoon/ night/ day depending and you will get to learnt two to three new games. Or maybe a favorite you have played before!  Wow it's amazing how fast time flies! Jen has been a busy bee playing with the new Paper Rose papers. Beautiful!

What are texture pastes? How can I use them in my crafting? Why are there some different types of texture pastes?

There are so many different brands and types of texture pastes available. Tim Holtz has transparent texture paste and grit paste. Crafter’s Workshop has stencil butters, and Simon Hurley has texture pastes. 

My next Play Date is on August 20, 2022 from 10:30-4 in the classroom at Scrapendipity South. Come and play with different brands of texture pastes and learn how each product differs. You can also learn how to use Texture pastes for cards or art journaling. 

I will also have a display of my journals where I have used texture pastes. 

Cost is $2. Hope to see you there!

 You can drop off donations that are craft related at the North store and we will put them in the garage sale on Aug 7. We will be bundling surprise bags for loose items. All proceeds are going to the Fund Ukraine foundation. 

We have a request from a Mom, her daughter ( Jessica) is going in for a Kidney Transplant on July 5.

I was wondering if any card makers would be interested in sending her a get well card?

Her mom wants to surprise her with cards so if people could address to her moms name that would be great.

'Hello Beautiful' Make and Take with Pat July 7, South

Another technique and some pretty paper, versatile and easy to make.
Feel free to bring your own stamp sentiments and small word  dies if you want different than sample.  Most paper already cut so we can concentrate on technique.
Basic kit for class: cutter, scorer, bone folder glue, pencil, pop dots/ foam tape.

"Alcohol Ink" Make and Take With Crystal July 7, North

I am thrilled to be kicking off the fun summer Make and Take season with one of my new favourite mediums, Alcohol Inks. Come join me in creating a fun Alcohol ink set featuring a cute set from Pink Ink designs that includes a card, tag, and envelope. There will be a variety of alcohol ink colours to choose from and matching card bases so you can pick your favourite colours to work with. We will be learning an easy way to apply alcohol inks and how to stamp alcohol inks using the lift ink stamp pad. Due to the nature of this class, it is not available as a kit. Can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces again in store.

GARAGE SALE August 7, North

 

More details closer to the date..... Table spots are sold out The Garage Sale will be Sunday August 7 from 10-2 at the NORTH store we will have drop off dates the first week of August so we aren't bombarded with boxes in the classroom but we will accept the donations of items so we can start building the grab bags :-) We need lots of shoppers of course also :-) We will also accept crafty items donated which we will make goodie bags out of and all those proceeds will go to the Ukraine fund raiser.

We also need help updating our files We are in the process of updating our computer, and we need your help, both stores have a form to fill out to help us with the process, and I wouldn't ask to work with no bonus so.... if you fill out the form you will get a coupon, actually 2 but the only way to use both is to visit both stores. Either way you can choose which side of the coupon you want to use, yep they are different lol Then we can update our files and help serve you better :-) Win , WIn!

Make and Take, Chocolate Mint Swing Card with Pat, June 30 South

 I love Chocolate Mint so made these cards with a choice of these colors.The technique again is so fun and amazing, the decorating is again so versatile and even the swing can be a different shape once you know how. I chose soft pattern paper and some pretty fussy cut flowers, and of course for us bling lovers there is a bit of that too!!
