MAKE AND TAKE With Monika March 10, N

 The Anita Jerram bunnies are just itching to be on a card!  This week's project is a pretty, Easter themed pop up box card that fits in a regular envelope and pops up when it's taken out.  This is a quick and easy card with an unexpected punch.   The super cute bunnies are stamped on watercolor paper for you to quickly color with your favorite water based marker or inks

Date:  Thursday,  March 10

Time:  Reserve your time - 10, 11, 12, 1, 2

Cost:  $5 per kit

Bring your basic supplies, markers and a water or paint brush and join us for some pop up fun!  Foam squares and Wink of Stella are optional as are sequins or jewels for a bit of bling.

Cost $5 for each kit.  Please email Monika at mmgilliham@gmail.com to reserve your spot (10, 11, 12, 1 or 2).  She will respond and confirm. 

If you cannot attend but would like a kit, please email Monika and let her know how many kits and which store you would like them sent to.  Kits must be prepaid by e-transfer before Thursday, March 10.

MAKE AND TAKE with Shari March 10, S

This week Shari has taken an adorable image from Pink Ink Designs and made this sweet rocker card. Watch the recipients eyes light up when they see the rocking and rolling this bunny does with just a small nudge. Who doesn't love a cute, cuddly rabbit, and this sweetie is rolling in the clover while sending special Easter wishes  that special someone in your life.  Join Shari to color this image with either Copic markers, or watercolors.  

Please bring your basic supply kit to the make and take.

Cost of the card is $5 each. Email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca to reserve your spot at either 10 am, 11am, 12pm, or 1pm. Also include which coloring medium you want to color with.

Make and Take with Doreen February 24 S

Who’s looking for one of those elusive guy cards?.  No coloring necessary.  Every embellishment comes from the designer paper.  This is a quick and easy card with a message panel on the back where you can write your personal comments to the recipient.  The front is set up to allow you to add your own greeting.  This card is ready for birthdays, someone who is getting their first car or maybe a new motorcycle, and maybe even for Father’s Day.  I have pre-cut all the elements for you – You’re welcome!

Bring your Basic Kit and come have some fun with designer paper.  You will want to bring foam pop dots, liquid glue and double-sided tape to make your assembly a breeze. 

 

Please email Doreen at bgscott@shaw.ca to reserve a time at the SOUTH store (403-457-7790) and indicate the number of kits.  If you can’t attend a class but would like a kit email Doreen directly and indicate the number of kits and store you would like for pick-up.  Payment is due upon registration and e-transfer is appreciated.

Pull out your Copics or Distress Inks(card not shown but you can get a watercolor version) and come and color this beautiful card with Shari. This card features another Colorado Craft image and sentiment, and would be the perfect card for birthdays!!

Cherry Blossom Make and Take January 20 with Kim N

 

MAKE AND TAKE for January 20th "Cherry Blossoms Galore" With Kim North Store Kim's very first Make and Take project for Scrapendipity is loaded with multi-layered blooms using vellum, shiny and patterned papers. Added blingy and shimmery embellishments complete the design to create an eye-catching and lovely card that is suitable for most joyful occasions. Easy and fun to put together as well. By using the long end of a thin paint brush to "curl in" the flower petals will give the blooms some added dimension, and just a strong liquid adhesive is needed to assemble the flowers together and adhere the elements to the card base. Coffee Break Make and Take with Doreen December 23 S

Well I think on this day we are all ready for a Coffee Break.  Wouldn’t it be nice to sit down and have some quiet

time….well a gal can dream can’t she!.  Come on over to the South Store and make this fun card.  I used Copic markers to color mine but pencil crayons or Tombows would also work. 

 

You will need some foam pop up strips to add the rim on the coffee cup lid, double-sided tape to add designer paper and a corner rounder for the top of the card.  Bring your scissors to cut out the cup.  I used vintage photo Distress Ink to add a bit of color to the sides and bottom of the coffee cup.

 

Kit includes Copic Color chart, instructions for assembly and all pieces to complete the card.  If you are coming to the store for an in-person class, I will send you a Copic list so you can bring your colors with you.

This week's Make and Take is a Twisted Gatefold card.  Looks complicated but easy and a bit different.  Everything you need except glue and a few markers to color the koala is included and allows you a couple of different ways of finishing it up.  The inside of your card is blank for your personal sentiment. A couple of sentiments will be available for you to choose from as well.

Make and Take with Crystal July 15th South in Person or N Store Kit

 

South Store Make and Take July 15th

For this week's make and take, Crystal will show you how to make a "Fintastic" spinner card using some of the Lawn Fawn Flip-flop stamps and dies. We will finish our card with some of the new Watercolour wishes rainbow paper and some glitter and bling. Please email Crystal at crystalroefs@hotmail.com and let her know if you would like to pick up a kit (South or North Store) or which time you would like to attend in-person at the South Store between 10-4. If doing the in-person you will need your adhesives. Please bring $5 per kit or you can e-transfer Crystal directly.

Take and Make with Melody June 3,North or South

 

Imagine the possibilities! This card can be used for any occasion.   It has many layers using a number of different die cuts on top of an embossed background. A little inking around the edges of the card and up the sides of the tree trunks gives it dimension too.  You will need a brown ink and a white ink (if you choose to make the embossed trees stand out a little more) and a liquid adhesive to assemble this card. Please e-mail Melody at youngmelody13@gmail.com with the number of kits you would like and which store you would prefer to pick up at. You can pick up the kits starting June 3 at 10:00 am from the North store or 3:30 from the South store. Please remember to bring $5.00 cash for each kit when picking up, or you can e-transfer directly to Melody. ‌
