More details closer to the date..... Table spots are sold out
The Garage Sale will be Sunday August 7 from 10-2 at the NORTH store we will have drop off dates the first week of August so we aren't bombarded with boxes in the classroom but we will accept the donations of items so we can start building the grab bags :-)

We need lots of shoppers of course also :-)

We will also accept crafty items donated which we will make goodie bags out of and all those proceeds will go to the Ukraine fund raiser.
We also need help updating our files
We are in the process of updating our computer, and we need your help, both stores have a form to fill out to help us with the process, and I wouldn't ask to work with no bonus so.... if you fill out the form you will get a coupon, actually 2 but the only way to use both is to visit both stores. "Summer Ginkgo" Make & Take with Kim, June 23 North

Thursday, June 23rd,  North Store

Ginkgo trees, (also known as Maidenhair trees) are mostly appreciated for their unique, fan-shaped leaves.  In China, Japan and Korea, they are cultivated for their edible seeds, and are also a symbol of longevity, as these trees are believed to last for a thousand years.  A delicate and lovely Ginkgo leaf and branch die from Paper Rose Studios is featured in this week's Make & Take card, using the die-cut inlay technique to showcase beautiful paper from the 49th & Market Viken collection, and Tonic Studios' Mirror Card.  Loaded with bling, shine with a bit of sparkle, this card is fun to make, and suitable for most occasions.

Please e-mail Kim at kopiccino@gmail.com to reserve a spot for either 12:00, 1:00 or 2:00 pm, and also include the number of kits you would like.

Supplies to bring to the class:
Foam tape
Double-sided tape
Strong liquid adhesive
Jewel picker
Craft tweezers
Scissors
Gold color gel pen or fine-tip marker

If you are not able to attend the class, but would still like to purchase kits, please also e-mail Kim to advise how many kits you would like and e-transfer payment.  The cost is $5 per kit.  Your kits will then be available for pick-up at the store of your choice.

June is fast approaching and the time to celebrate Father's is just around the corner. This week Shari has taken a
Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram stamp set called "Dad's Cooking" and made an adorable card for a special Dad in your life. The inside sentiment can be for Father's day - "With Love to a Special Dad" - or for a birthday - "Happy Birthday", you just need to let Shari know which sentiment you prefer. You also get your choice of coloring medium, either watercolor or Copics. To finish off the card front you will be doing some paper tearing, antiquing with inks, and using a special product to make a shiny mat to frame your card front.

Please bring your basic supply kit as well as an ink blending tool, a light brown ink of your choice, and your coloring medium of choice - either Copics or watercolors, to the make and take.

Please email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca and let her know what time you would like to attend the make and take, which coloring medium you would like to use, as well as the choice of inside sentiment.

Make 'n Take with Shari May 5, North

Time to show off some love to a special man in your life.  The last Pink Ink
Designs stamp Shari used was the Mouse Doctor, and now it's time to color up the Golfer Mouse, and who could resist his tongue in cheek sentiment.  Shari has used Copic markers to color up this image, but you can choose to color it with Distress Inks, watercolors, or Prismacolor pencils. This would be a great birthday card, father's day card or just a card for any male in your life. Shari paired the card with paper from Memory Box's Woodsy Plaid 6 x 6 pad, so each card will have a different plaid featured in this wonderful collection.

Please being the coloring medium of your choice, and adhesives to complete the card. Times available are 11 am, 12 pm or 1 pm.  Kits are $5 each and must be paid by e-transfer before Thursday, May 5. Please contact Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca to confirm your time, and which coloring medium you prefer.  If you would prefer to do this card as a take 'n make, please let Shari know which coloring medium you want, and which store you want your kits delivered to - North or South.

Date - Thursday, May 5
Time - 11am, 12 pm, 1pm
Cost - $5 per card, prepaid
