"Summer Ginkgo" Make & Take with Kim, June 23 North

Ginkgo trees, (also known as Maidenhair trees) are mostly appreciated for their unique, fan-shaped leaves.  In China, Japan and Korea, they are cultivated for their edible seeds, and are also a symbol of longevity, as these trees are believed to last for a thousand years.  A delicate and lovely Ginkgo leaf and branch die from Paper Rose Studios is featured in this week's Make & Take card, using the die-cut inlay technique to showcase beautiful paper from the 49th & Market Viken collection, and Tonic Studios' Mirror Card.  Loaded with bling, shine with a bit of sparkle, this card is fun to make, and suitable for most occasions.

Camping season is almost upon us, and these shimmery and delightful camp trailer-shaped cards (made with Honey Bee's Honey Cuts) can help inspire and get campers in the mood for another lovely summer in the great outdoors!  An ideal greeting card for the nature-lovers in your life, this week's Make & Take is offered in two color themes of blue plaid, or red plaid.  Choose which one you prefer, or even both!  Just be sure to advise of your color preferences upon ordering.  Please note that plaid patterns may vary in the kits, but will still be either the blue or red themes that you chose, as they are from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid or Christmas Plaid 6x6 paper collections.

Magnolias are known for their elegance and beauty around the world, and Yana's Magnolia Blooms die from Spellbinders captures these characteristics accurately!  By adding a bit of ink onto a shimmery base, and then finishing with a delicate and shiny outline, you will have a spray of gorgeous blooms that take Centre stage in this week's Make & Take.  Offered in two color combinations of blue and silver, or purple and gold, you may choose which one you prefer, or even both!  Just advise of your color preferences upon ordering.

Cherry Blossom Make and Take January 20 with Kim N

 

MAKE AND TAKE for January 20th "Cherry Blossoms Galore" With Kim North Store Kim's very first Make and Take project for Scrapendipity is loaded with multi-layered blooms using vellum, shiny and patterned papers. Added blingy and shimmery embellishments complete the design to create an eye-catching and lovely card that is suitable for most joyful occasions. Easy and fun to put together as well. By using the long end of a thin paint brush to "curl in" the flower petals will give the blooms some added dimension, and just a strong liquid adhesive is needed to assemble the flowers together and adhere the elements to the card base.
