January Art Journal “2022” with Kerri-Ann January 25

This will be an “in person” class held at the south store on Tuesday, January 25.  The class will also be recorded for the Private Facebook Group that you will be invited to join.  If you are unable to attend the class at the store, you will be able to watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience.  This class is a great one for beginners as well as the more experienced mixed media fans. 

 

Kits will include all the cogs, brads, and title.  The supplies you will need to have on hand are:

 

Black gesso

Black acrylic paint

Dina Wakley Gloss Spray: GILT  (*substitute: gold acrylic paint)

3 metallic waxes/pastes (Example:  *Prima Art Alchemy: Aged Brass, Brushed Iron, Vintage Gold)

Liquid Stardust or Wink of Stella

2-3 Metallic Markers (silver/gold/copper)

Wide, stiff bristled paint brush

Pliers

This tribute to Remembrance Day features Tim Holtz’ grit paste, Deco Foil and two kinds of gesso. We will be using clear and white gesso to create this multi level background and focal point.  Everyone will need to find a circular object for tracing that suits their own art journal size.  (Plate, Bowl, Stencil, etc.)

Mixed Media 'Run Away' with Kerri-Ann March 23 South

 

“Run Away” Mixed Media Project with Kerri-Ann SOUTH This will be on ZOOM and FACEBOOK This project is great for beginners but all skill levels are welcome. It can be done on canvas, mixed media paper or in your Art Journal. Featured products include Dylusions sprays, modeling/texture paste, Liquid Stardust by Lawn Fawn (or Wink of Stella by Zig). Your kit will include one sheet of Mixed Media Paper to work on and the quote (pre-cut on black cardstock). When you pick up your class kit, it will contain a list of products you will need to have on hand in order to complete the class. You will receive an email TWO days prior to the class with an invitation to the live ZOOM meeting and PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP. If you are unable to attend the ZOOM meeting at the scheduled time, you will be able to watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience. MARCH MIXED MEDIA ART JOURNAL PAGE With Kerri-Ann SOUTH THIS WILL BE ON ZOOM AND FACEBOOK Interested in getting messy and creative but don’t want to take on a full size canvas? Why not start an art journal? Each month will be a different theme using different mediums and techniques. Learn which products work well together and how to use up your stash of papers and embellishments in a fun, creative way.
