Great Canadian Virtual Scrapbook CARNIVAL

THIS WEEKEND !!

Join the virtual fun, along with your favorite vendors, teachers and Us!!

Friday @ 6:30, Dianne will have her virtual class

if you bought the kit you can follow along if you just want to watch for ideas and then order the kit you can do that too!

Saturday @ 6:30 Selena will be doing a demo on different ideas for chipboard! both live, both 30 minutes!!

The fun goes all day long for two days!

Foil and Ice Card Class with Crystal October 15

Class: Lawn Fawn Foil and Ice Card Class

Date: October 15th

Time: 5:00-7:00

Cost: Four foiled cards for $28 plus tax

Come create four beautifully foiled cards (One is a shaker). In this class you will learn how to foil using the die cutting machine method and the laminator method. We will finish off the cards with some cute images from some old and new Lawn Fawn Sets and sparkling glitter. Please note that you will need Alcohol Based markers or pencil crayons for this class. Evernote and Card Class with Crystal October 25

Class Name: Evernote and a Card Class

Date: October 25th

Time: 10:00-12:00

Cost: $15 plus tax

Do you constantly buy doubles of scrapbooking items, forget what goodies are in your stash, or maybe you want a way to organize your inspiration or past projects? Crystal has the solution to all of these issues. Come learn how to use the free version of Evernote to organize your crafting items. If Crystal who is not super tech savvy can do it, so can you! She will walk you through the process step-by-step and provide instructions for you to take home. You can just follow along or bring your own electronic device and go through the steps with her (Have Evernote App downloaded already on your device-The free version is all you really need). Once we finish learning about Evernote, we will create one super cute, foiled, interactive card and then learn how to add projects to our database too. Make and Take with Holly September 17

Make and Take every Thursday

As you can see in the photo, you have a choice of pink, blue, or pink AND blue.

This card uses a fantastic stamp set from Paper Rose, called “Sketchy Rose”. I absolutely LOVE this set!!!

We are also using the Gina K masking papers.

Super easy and re-usable, making this my new “go-to”!

To complete this card, you will need adhesive, black Staz-On or Memento, a pink and/or a blue ink, and a green ink.

I used Tattered Rose, Stormy Sky, and Iced Spruce from the Distress line.

Please email Lyndsey directly at lejamieson@shaw.ca to let her know how you would like to "attend" this class and how many kits you would like. We need to know what time you would like to come in (this will need to be confirmed by email) or if you prefer to pick up at the store. Each kit is $5.00 and will be available to pick up at the store during regular hours on Thursday, September 17.

We are now open for Make n Take with some restrictions of course.

We are only allowed 6 people at a time.

We are also offering the "Take'n'Make" option. If you do not feel comfortable with an "in class" situation, we understand. Just let us know that you would like the "take it and go" option when signing up.

Happy Monday my crafty friends. I am so excited to be able to create with everyone virtually. Please join me on Sept 24 at the store to create this fun pop up card (a variety of color combinations available) It will fit into a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 “ envelope. In order to get the kits to the store ahead of class I will need everyone to email hollyth@shaw.ca before Sept 17. I will be able to have 6 people in the class room every hour. When you email, please let me know what time 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm and how many kits you would like. Kits will also be available for those wishing to do Take and Make. So excited to be part of the Make and Takes again and to connect with all my crafty friends.
