Make and take contest time!!!!

LAST WEEK

We love the cards you have been sharing with us here at the store and online. Here's your chance to create a card to be featured at an upcoming make and take and win a $10 gift card. Here are the rules.

1/ Not a Pinterest forward

2/ max one stamp and or die on the card. The stamp and die must be current

3/ enclose template (if used) with submission

4/ can be a fun fold or an A2 card

5/ no colouring on the card.

Drop off your submission at the store before the end of August. Winner will be chosen the first of Sept ember and announced on facebook and in our newsletter.

Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Make and Take with Holly Every Thursday

Happy Monday. I am so happy to see so many new faces! Thank you to everyone for sharing information about our store and our make and takes. I have so much fun coming up with new and fun cards for you.
This week is a fun little, fold up birthday card. Could make a really cute Christmas card done in different paper and embellishments.
Email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 2pm 3pm 4pm or 5pm.
As always if you can't make it but would like a kit/card just let me know.
Please remember your adhesive and a coffee mug if you would like coffee.

SHARI'S CARD EXTRAVAGANZA

***Please note dates have been changed and that the photo is just a representation of some of the projects being planned - there are many, many more to come!!!!

Shari is returning in late September and is planning a big day of card making. Cards will be available in the following mediums - Just Copics, Copics and Prismacolor(which can also be just Copics if you choose), Prismacolor only, and Inktense Pencils. Instead of offering multiple classes Shari is doing an all day coloring session from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 from 11 am to 4:30 pm. Class size will be limited to only 12 people per day. Cards will be available to preorder starting mid September - How you ask???? Once you have registered for the class the selection of cards will be sent out to each individual and will be based on a first come, first served principal, but please remember the cards will not be available for preorder until September 20 or 21st ( this moving into a new home with three grandkids is more work than you think when they are all under the age of 3!!!!) So for the cost of $30.00 you will be able to choose any 3 cards you want based on the first come, first served principle. If there are any cards left after preordering is completed they will be available for purchase on class days. Clear as mud right! LOL!!! Lift off Ink Class with Dianne September 5

LIFT OFF INK CLASS
Dianne has found this new Ink pad very fascinating multi purpose! You can ink with alcohol then stamp on top and get a cool lightened image! Then stamp away on more paper to create a double card!
You have to come to class to learn all the techniques using this very popular product!!

Good morning ladies. Hope everyone is ok with all this smoke!! Its been a hard week for so many, sure hope we get some rain or winds to help clear the air.
We had a few new faces this week!!! Yay. Those ladies and their friends will be entered into this months contest. To be entered into the contest all you have to do is, be new to our make and take or bring a friend who is new and both of you will be entered to win.
This week we have.......another fun fold. A few score lines some adhesive and there you have it.
