Fall Fling Mixed Media Journal Class 

Date: September 17th

Time: 5:30-7:30

Cost: $30 plus tax

Come learn how to incorporate some of the fabulous rice papers into your mixed media projects through a fall inspired double layout page with Crystal. The cost is a bit higher as you will receive all of the supplies you need to make the page except for adhesive and the actual journal. This layout is jam packed with techniques you can easily transfer to other mixed media projects, canvases, and cards. Come ready to get inky. An old shirt is also highly recommended. Interactive Madness with Crystal September 17

Midnight movie interactive madness class
Date: September 19
Time: 6:00-7:30
Cost: $25 plus tax

Have you looked at some of the My Favorite Things interactive dies and wondered how they worked? Maybe you are a fan of Kindred Stamps. Crystal will show you how to use both to create three interactive cards that will leave you wanting a double feature. You will need Copic markers or pencil crayons for this class but no experience is needed. Call the store at 403-455-6772 to reserve your spot.

 

Card Holder with Holly September 24

In this class we will create 6 coordinating A2 cards using a technique called one page wonder.  We will also make a coordinating card holder.  This would make a great hostess gift or birthday gift.  

 

Cost is $25.

Technique and Tools with Holly Monday Sept 23

The technique we want to share in this class is how to use layered stamps.  The image looks more watercolored as there is no outline.  There are many different company's creating layered stamps.   Come and create a tag while you learn this  stamping technique.  Cost is $5 to come and play for an hour.   Please call the store to sign up for 11am, noon, 1pm 2pm or 3pm.   403 455 6772.

Make and Take with Holly You're one in a Chameleon!   That's the sentiment for this weeks make and take.  This week we will create this fun card with a colour wheel to change the colour of the chameleon. Sunflower Canvas with Dianne September 6

Dianne has designed a new canvas with alcohol inks once again! Since the last class sold out so quick she will be teaching a few new techniques and STEP by STEP instructions to get the perfect sunflower! We will also be learning different ways to make a background you will love! If you took the last class, it will give you a good base for this one, but don't worry if its your first time! Your results will be beautiful! There will only be 12 in each class to provide the best attention to each canvas!  There are 4 colours you can bring to get the same results as Dianne!

Holly has another Quick easy mini album 1st date SOLD OUT  second date is SEPT 3 @ 5PM for you.  In this class we will complete a 4X6, eight page mini album.   This album will be unique to each person as you will select a 6x6 pad from the collection we will have at the class.  You will finish covering all the pages in class, but can embellish at home,  with trinkets etc. you will have in your stash that will coordinate with your chosen paper pad. Happy Monday everyone.  I am back for make and take this Thursday after my sons wedding and a mini vacation in Kelowna.  So much fun with all the grandkids!
Come and join us this Thursday to make this super cute fun fold card inspired by all the little ones I had the pleasure of spending the past 10 days with.

So how does this work? I will send you a sketch with a sample of my take on the layout, and you bring photos, paper, embellishments ect that you want to work on, any set of pictures!  the classes aren't theme specific. Then we work on making your pictures fit into the sketch, if you don't have the papers or embellishments that's ok part of the price includes a 60.00 gift card for making your page come to life :-) the class is 11:00 each plus the 60.00 gift card so a set of 4 classes would total $104.00

If you have to miss one of the classes it's 11.00 less :-)
