Make 'n Take with Shari, June 2 North

June is fast approaching and the time to celebrate Father's is just around the corner. This week Shari has taken a
Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram stamp set called "Dad's Cooking" and made an adorable card for a special Dad in your life. The inside sentiment can be for Father's day - "With Love to a Special Dad" - or for a birthday - "Happy Birthday", you just need to let Shari know which sentiment you prefer. You also get your choice of coloring medium, either watercolor or Copics. To finish off the card front you will be doing some paper tearing, antiquing with inks, and using a special product to make a shiny mat to frame your card front.

Please bring your basic supply kit as well as an ink blending tool, a light brown ink of your choice, and your coloring medium of choice - either Copics or watercolors, to the make and take.

Please email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca and let her know what time you would like to attend the make and take, which coloring medium you would like to use, as well as the choice of inside sentiment. 

If you can not attend the make and take, but would like a kit, please let Shari know which store you would like your kit to go to, as well as your choice of inside sentiment and coloring medium.

All kits are $5 each and must be prepaid before June 2 to Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca.

Flippin' Awesome Take n Make with Doreen June 10 N or S

 Here’s a fun card that may work for you for Father’s Day or for a birthday card.

  The “kids” can hardly wait till dad gets

those pancakes flippin'.  Made with a Colorado Crafts Stamp but reconfigured by changing the chef hat to a cowboy hat and changing the chef jacket to a cowboy shirt, vest and a bandana.  This card is 6” x 6” square when finished and folds flat to fit in an envelope for mailing but has a pop out on the front to help it stand for display.

A list of Copics used to color the images are contained in the instruction sheet but you can use your favorite coloring medium on the images.  Have some foam pop dots ready to pop up the image and sentiment, double sided tape or liquid adhesive may also be helpful.  You will need scissors or craft knife to fussy cut the images.

Father's day card June 4th with Pat

Class: South store “Fathers Day”  grab and go card by Pat Metner Date: Available June 4, 2021 @ south store, can ship North. Cost: $12.00 Store phone: 403-457-7790 This was a fun card to make and the look on the recipients face is awesome. Twist and pop. Kits are made using Ciabella paper pack “Delta” No two cards the same pattern paper but still stunning. You will receive all the pieces to complete this card, or change it up with more bling or dress it down for the manly man. You can even use pictures of the kids for this awesome Fathers Day Dad. Included in the kit is all the pieces to make this tent card, instructions with drawn pictures and even the burlap wraparound if you chose. All you need is glue. NORTH STORE take and Make with HOLLY May 20

 

NORTH STORE take and Make with HOLLY Happy Monday crafty ladies. My next make and take (take and make) will be on May 20. This is a fun masculine card but I will show you samples of other ways to create this card. It folds flat for mailing too. I know this is a bit early but this card will take me a bit of time to prep and get mailed so I wanted to give you lots of notice.  Please let me know ASAP and no later than May 11. Other than adhesive you will need some Nuvo drops or similar, to color the tool handles (if you want).  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to reserve you kit(s). Let me know how many kits and if you would like to pick up at the north or south store. It is best if you can bring cash when you pick up, $5 per kit. As always the kits can be mailed to you or added to your existing order. Keep crafting and stay safe, I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. .

New in the Warehouse

Store hours are altered slightly.

We are open 10-4 so that the store remains private from 4-6 for booked shopping, but if you are doing curbside, you can still do that til 6 :-) 

We are offering you choices, if you want to come in and shop we will make sure no more than 3 shoppers are in the store at once and you will see a big pink sign on the door letting you know there will be a wait :-) also at 3:00 we  have put a sign just so you know we are "Live" for about 15 minutes, but you can still shop :-) so far this process is working for everyone :-)
