This Happy Day Bear Card has a nautical theme and a different Bendy Card format that allows the card to stand for easy display.  Fits in a standard 4 ¼” x 5 ½” envelope.  This cute little bear is just happy walking down the dock enjoying the salty air.  He is a new Lawn Fawn Stamp (Beary Rainy Day)  and is easy to color.  I used Copic markers but pencil crayons or Tombow markers would also work well.  Everything you see here is in the kit including a message panel that is on the back of the card.

Bring your Basic Card Kit and come have some fun with designer paper, die cuts and simple coloring.  You will want to bring foam pop dots, liquid glue and double-sided tape to make your assembly a breeze.  You will need scissors to fussy cut the little bear and umbrella.

Who’s looking for one of those elusive guy cards?.  No coloring necessary.  Every embellishment comes from the designer paper.  This is a quick and easy card with a message panel on the back where you can write your personal comments to the recipient.  The front is set up to allow you to add your own greeting.  This card is ready for birthdays, someone who is getting their first car or maybe a new motorcycle, and maybe even for Father’s Day.  I have pre-cut all the elements for you – You’re welcome!

Here’s a fun fold for you to try.   These characters are from My Favorite Things and are dreaming of some summer weather so they can take time to “smell the flowers”.   All the paper and trims are included in the kit.  This could be a birthday card or it could be for that “someone special” at Valentine’s Day.

 

You will need foam pop dots for the fellow on the front and some double-sided tape or liquid adhesive to add the skunks to the tabs inside.  I added Wink of Stella to the little flowers on each tab.  Scissors or Xacto knife are required to fussy cut out the stamps.  Copic list included in kit but you could color with your favorite medium.

Coffee Break Make and Take with Doreen December 23 S

Well I think on this day we are all ready for a Coffee Break.  Wouldn’t it be nice to sit down and have some quiet

time….well a gal can dream can’t she!.  Come on over to the South Store and make this fun card.  I used Copic markers to color mine but pencil crayons or Tombows would also work. 

 

You will need some foam pop up strips to add the rim on the coffee cup lid, double-sided tape to add designer paper and a corner rounder for the top of the card.  Bring your scissors to cut out the cup.  I used vintage photo Distress Ink to add a bit of color to the sides and bottom of the coffee cup.

 

Kit includes Copic Color chart, instructions for assembly and all pieces to complete the card.  If you are coming to the store for an in-person class, I will send you a Copic list so you can bring your colors with you.

Make and Take with Doreen November 18th

This fun shaped card is from a Penny Black Stamp and would be a cute Christmas card but it would also be a great birthday card or a card for a special friend when you want to say “hello”.  Pop in a gift card or a little pouch of hot chocolate and make it a gift in a card.

 

You will need Distress Ink in barn red and tumbled glass, foam dots for under the sentiment, black Sakura Glaze pen, and a diagonal or straight line stencil and foam applicator.  If you don’t have a stencil then just color the hand a solid color of your choice.   I used Copics to color the critters but pencil crayons would work just as well. Copic list and instructions with each kit.

My idea was to create a Gnome Christmas Wreath – not sure I accomplished it but this is what I ended up with. 

         I hope you will join me and come do some coloring on these little Gnomes and help them get ready for Christmas.

 

The Gnomes are stamped onto white card stock and are ready to be colored – no fussy cutting involved.

I colored with Copics but pencil crayons or your favorite medium would work.  Copic list included in instruction sheet.

 

Bring your basic card kit, and liquid adhesive or double-sided tape to add some elements.  I wanted the snowflake popped up so I used pre-cut narrow strips of foam tape under the arms of it.  The panel that the Gnomes are on is popped up on the red using pop dots or foam tape.

Here’s a not too Spooky Halloween card that is quick and easy to make and has a little play on the words in the sentiment.  This card uses no stamps or dies because the silhouette is created on the Brother Scan N Cut, the sentiment is computer generated and the background is created using Distress Inks.

 

In addition to your Basic Card Kit, you will need to bring – Distress Inks or Oxides for the background – Wilted Violet, Spiced Marmalade, and Fossilized Amber (or colors similar that you have at home), brushes or foam applicators to add the ink to the background, foam tape or foam pop dots to pop up the front panel and sentiment, liquid adhesive or double-sided tape for silhouette.

Time to get started on your Christmas stash of cards.  This is a Pinwheel Design card that when open stands on its own for display and fits into an A2 sized envelope.  It is easy to make and is an unusual design.

In addition to your Basic Card Kit, you will need to bring double-sided tape or adhesive to assemble, Wink of Stella Clear for window glass, Faded Jeans Distress Ink and applicator (any dark blue will work), coloring medium of your choice (Copic list included in instructions).  If you would like a list of Copics ahead of the class let Doreen know and she will email a list to you in advance.

Take and Make with Doreen SOUTH KIT ONLY July 21

 

This is a quick and easy card for a fun summer birthday where the die cut critters are celebrating at the beach. The critters are colored simply with Copic markers and popped up with foam squares. Any coloring medium would work for coloring these excited party friends. Copic list included in instructions. No scissors required as everything is die cut for you. You will need double-sided tape or adhesive and foam pop dots. The die cuts used are from Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things. Take and Make Kit 'Calgary Home' with Doreen June 30th

July 1st celebration

This card was created by using a Misti or Stamping Platform Stamp Positioning device.  The stamps used are from sets designed exclusively for Scrapendipity.  I have combined stamps from several sets to come up with this card design.   Images stamped on Kraft cardstock and panel then added to an A2 white card base.  I have picked out the maple leaves and the word Calgary to color using a red Copic marker.  Any coloring medium would work on this card.  Quick and easy and maybe a project for the kids.

You will need adhesive or double-sided tape to add the kraft panel to your card.  No cutting required!

Flippin' Awesome Take n Make with Doreen June 10 N or S

 Here’s a fun card that may work for you for Father’s Day or for a birthday card.

  The “kids” can hardly wait till dad gets

those pancakes flippin'.  Made with a Colorado Crafts Stamp but reconfigured by changing the chef hat to a cowboy hat and changing the chef jacket to a cowboy shirt, vest and a bandana.  This card is 6” x 6” square when finished and folds flat to fit in an envelope for mailing but has a pop out on the front to help it stand for display.

A list of Copics used to color the images are contained in the instruction sheet but you can use your favorite coloring medium on the images.  Have some foam pop dots ready to pop up the image and sentiment, double sided tape or liquid adhesive may also be helpful.  You will need scissors or craft knife to fussy cut the images.

Here’s a cute card to make for a Friend. The background is a stamp and it reminds me of the lily pads floating on a pond. Bright and cheery and easy to color with your favorite coloring medium. I used Copics and there will be a list of the ones I used in the instruction sheet. You will need scissors to cut out the stamp and adhesive and foam pop dots to add dimension to the sentiment and stamp. Which of your friends will be the Lucky Duck to get this fun card from you? Elephant CheeryTake and Make SOUTH with Doreen April 29

Take and Make - Mouse with Viola April 1, 2021

 

Here’s a happy card with a cute little mouse.  The stamp set for this is called “4 Leaf Clover” but when I saw it I thought the flower looked like a viola.  So with spring in the air that is how I colored it using copics.  The background color behind the sunny looking die is made using Distress Inks – Kitsch Flamingo and Wilted Violet.  You will need your favorite adhesives and some foam pop dots for under the mouse and you have a quick card that you can use for many occasions.  Instruction sheet included.

Hi Everyone

We are all waiting for Spring to arrive.  This card gives your recipient a little surprise when they open it.  The little gnome pops up on his bee that he is training while waiting for warm spring days to get here.  You will be doing some inking with Wild Honey Distress Ink and coloring with Copic markers or your choice of coloring medium.  Have your pop dots and double-sided tape or glue handy.  Get out your scissors to fussy cut the stamps.  Wink of Stella clear was used on the bees wings and on the goggles.  Add highlights with a White Uniball Signo pen.  Color instruction sheet included.
