Who’s looking for one of those elusive guy cards?.  No coloring necessary.  Every embellishment comes from the designer paper.  This is a quick and easy card with a message panel on the back where you can write your personal comments to the recipient.  The front is set up to allow you to add your own greeting.  This card is ready for birthdays, someone who is getting their first car or maybe a new motorcycle, and maybe even for Father’s Day.  I have pre-cut all the elements for you – You’re welcome!

Bring your Basic Kit and come have some fun with designer paper.  You will want to bring foam pop dots, liquid glue and double-sided tape to make your assembly a breeze.

Join Shari to color or watercolor this adorable Gnome from Woodware Crafts.  This is a perfect valentine for the special someone in your life whether its a spouse, grandchild, or another, and would also make an adorable anniversary card.

Cost of the card is $5 each. Email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca to reserve your spot at either 10 am, 11am, 12pm, or 1pm. Also include which coloring medium you want.

If you can not attend the class, but would like a kit, you can also email Shari letting her know how many kits you want, coloring medium you prefer, and which store you want your cards sent to. Kits are $5 each and must be prepaid by e-transfer before Thursday, February 3.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for spring!

So, this week we are making a sweet, any occasion card, using a Wendy Vecchi stamp and die from her “Thanks a Million” set.

Please e-mail Lyndsey lejamieson@shaw.ca to reserve a spot from 10-2, and also include the number of kits you would like.

 The cost is $5 per kit.  

Suggested supplies to bring to the class:

Markers or other coloring things in your favorite colors (we will also have some available for you to use)

Here’s a fun fold for you to try.   These characters are from My Favorite Things and are dreaming of some summer weather so they can take time to “smell the flowers”.   All the paper and trims are included in the kit.  This could be a birthday card or it could be for that “someone special” at Valentine’s Day.

 

You will need foam pop dots for the fellow on the front and some double-sided tape or liquid adhesive to add the skunks to the tabs inside.  I added Wink of Stella to the little flowers on each tab.  Scissors or Xacto knife are required to fussy cut out the stamps.  Copic list included in kit but you could color with your favorite medium.

The holiday season is just around the corner so Crystal decided it was time to get cracking on making those holiday cards. For this Take and make you will be creating one card featuring a retro TV with a winters scene complete with envelope. To complete the card you will need a brown, black or grey, red, and green water-based medium and coloured pencils or alcohol based markers to colour the scene. Don’t care for colouring, leave the image an old fashioned black and white. Please note sentiments may vary.

The new Mintay papers are here and are so much fun to play with. Create two cards that mirror each other and then add your own embellishments to personalize each card for whatever occasion you need it for. Each sheet of paper will give you enough flowers to make four cards so mix and match them as you wish. Some fussy cutting is involved, some layering of the cut-outs will give you a dimensional look. The kit includes all the papers and embellishments you will need to assemble two cards (plus extra's for your own design ). This is a quick and easy card for a fun summer birthday where the die cut critters are celebrating at the beach. The critters are colored simply with Copic markers and popped up with foam squares. Any coloring medium would work for coloring these excited party friends. Copic list included in instructions. No scissors required as everything is die cut for you. You will need double-sided tape or adhesive and foam pop dots. The die cuts used are from Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things. Take and Make with Melody SOUTH Small things have great power! The new painted peony mix washi tape, die cuts and stamps are so much fun to work with. Make an easy layered card, featuring the washi tape, accented with gold trim and pearl drops. Kit incudes intructions and all materials (except adhesives) needed to create and assemble this project, with flowers left over to create something on your own. Please email Melody at youngmelody13@gmail.com to reserve your kit(s), which can be picked up starting on July 8 - at the  North store after 10:00 am, or at the  South store after 3:30 pm.  Cost is $5.00 per kit. E-transfer in advance (preferred) or cash when you pick up your kit(s).     ‌

Take and Make Kit 'Calgary Home' with Doreen June 30th

July 1st celebration

This card was created by using a Misti or Stamping Platform Stamp Positioning device.  The stamps used are from sets designed exclusively for Scrapendipity.  I have combined stamps from several sets to come up with this card design.   Images stamped on Kraft cardstock and panel then added to an A2 white card base.  I have picked out the maple leaves and the word Calgary to color using a red Copic marker.  Any coloring medium would work on this card.  Quick and easy and maybe a project for the kids.

You will need adhesive or double-sided tape to add the kraft panel to your card.  No cutting required!
