Fast Cards



These simple stacked cards are made with the Bo-Bunny 'Live Life in Color' paper. A bit of inking edges and some glitter and they were done!

 Shhh they are a secret!

I used a stamp from the stash for the sentiment and envelope decorating.

The Ninja is from free online graphic embellished with glitter and colored to suit the paper.

Make and Take with Holly September 28

Another successful carnival. Thank you to all who stopped by our booth.  We survived the frigid day on Friday and Sat was beautiful.  Thankyou to Maureen and Teresa for bringing coffee to warm us up.
Come out to the store this Thursday for make and take.  We will create this cute umbrella card.  Many colors to choose from.
Email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm 4pm or 5pm.
Please remember your adhesive and a travel mug for you coffee.  $5 for one card or $7 for two. 
I have lots of kits left from last week (as we had to leave early to carnival). So let me know if you are wanting a kit(s) or card(s) from last week.

Fun Friday

Not a lot of time to make things...late for so many important dates! This is a  set of trading tags. The call was for 'Altered Alice'. The center is the back view, the tiny book has pages that actually open. The cut outs are from a random deck of cards and G 45 papers.

 

Some glue book pages "Secret Garden" theme made with napkins over an old text background with reprinted vintage photos and other stash bits.

Copic Card Class Via Shari Mail

As many of you know, I am in the process of moving to British Columbia, but I still have so many card kits that I want to share with you.  So going forward Selena and I have come up with a plan to still provide card kits to anyone who wants to color with Copics, Copics with Prismacolor, and Inktense pencils ( or a watercolor medium of your choice).  I will be sending kits to the store and you can sign up to receive the kits at your convenience, or Selena may book a date to allow you to get together with fellow colorists, the choice is yours!  I want to thank everyone who has supported my obsession with coloring since I started teaching for Selena, and say a special thank you to Selena for allowing me to share my creative ideas and the opportunity to teach at the store.

Copics and Prismacolor Pencil Coloring Kits

 

These card kits feature two gorgeous images from Stamping Bella, as well as a cute Christmas image from Art Impressions.  All of the images can be colored with Copics, and if you choose you can add more depth and highlights with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  Full color maps are included in the kits and a supply list will be sent out with any additional supplies you will need to finish the cards as shown.

 

Cost - $30. 00 for 3 cards ( one of each design)

Mixed Media Canvas with Dianne October 10

MIXED MEDIA CANVAS FUN
Have you seen all these great canvases made with all sorts of objects and wander how they are done?? Dianne will be teaching you to explore all your different options when making this type of highly popular canvas using all sorts of embellishments! Prima has so many cool beads, stones and texture pastes that we will be using along with your own embellishments of buttons, flowers, and odd shaped items you may have! These can be made with left over products that have been heading for recycling!! This is a very fun and creative class with just a little bit of Dianne's usual messiness!!!
