Stamperia class with Selena Designed by Antonis Tzanidakis Well, I got to take a class with this talented man, and now I can share my knowledge. This beautiful canvas starts out white and ends up like it's been hanging in an old New York store under the bridge for years, I had so much fun creating it I can't wait to share with you Date: Tuesday June 14 6-8 ish South Store Cost: includes canvas, 2 bottles of paint and 1 bottle of spray. Canvas Class with Dianne March 2

This mixed media canvas is great for any level! Nervous to try mixed media? Dianne will guide you through to make this inspirational canvas! She will be using the NEW SIZZIX DIES for this class! They are a hot item from Creativaton!

We will be using gesso, moulding paste, UTEE, crayons, spray paints and more! Perhaps some messy fingers but a whole lot of fun!!

A new canvas with so many techniques you won't want to miss this!! A great addition to you home too! Dianne will be using some of the new TEXTURE embossing powders and lots of UTEE to make some super cool embellishments and background! Come try some mixed media techniques using texture paste, inks, sprays, and BEESWAX! A super cool new product! Have you tried alcohol inks on acrylic yet!? Also something we will be trying out!

Stay Curiouls Canvas Class with Nicole Wright March 22

As we wait for the winter snow to melt all we can do is dream of spring flowers. For this 10x10 canvas we will get down and inky with Dylusions paints. It's all about finger painting and playing with crayons. Let's explore the art of blending these bold colours and creating a dynamic canvas. Look at you pattern paper in a different way with a little freestyle cutting, gluing and smearing crayons. Let's play with crayons!

Colouful Canvas with Dianne February 13

Dianne has created a new canvas with lots of fun colours and techniques! We will be playing with Tim Holtz Distress stains, Oxide Inks for a really neat technique, and other mixed medium products! Do you know what GESSO and TEXURE PASTE are?? This is a great learning class so you can be less timid to create your own canvasses!

MIXED MEDIA CANVAS FUN
Have you seen all these great canvases made with all sorts of objects and wander how they are done?? Dianne will be teaching you to explore all your different options when making this type of highly popular canvas using all sorts of embellishments! Prima has so many cool beads, stones and texture pastes that we will be using along with your own embellishments of buttons, flowers, and odd shaped items you may have! These can be made with left over products that have been heading for recycling!! This is a very fun and creative class with just a little bit of Dianne's usual messiness!!!

Dianne has had several requests for a new SPRING canvas and she has a new class ready to go! This canvas has so much detail and you will not only be creating a great canvas, but learning a few techniques along the way! We will be using so many products including crepe paper and cloth for hand made flowers! Also learning to use Gesso, molding paste, layers and layers of paint and texture! Dianne has even designed paper clay embellishments made from the NEW Prima clay molds! The NEW Tim Holtz Mini houses are so much fun to decorate! If you have a different saying you would like to use, please let Dianne know when you register!

Hide N Seek Canvas with Selena November 27

 

 A few of you have asked about this canvas on the wall, so.... I picked a date to do the class!!  

Included in the class will be a smorgasbord of trinkets and items for you to use, but you will want to bring some of your own goodies as well. NOTE: the canvases will be completely different from each other including the one in the picture :-) This one was Alice themed due to Maddies dress, but you will want to either go completely random or match a photo theme.   

Must haves for class day 

A jar of white gesso ( I will be stocking up before class ) 

450 glue 

and a photo 

( your own trunk of trinkets as well )

I will supply the canvas, all the sprays and many trinkets.

Halloween Canvas with NICOLE

If getting inking and making a mess is fun then this class is for you.  

Don't be frightened by inks, distress crayons or texture paste.  In this class I walk you through all the mess of mixed media layering with stamps, inks and die cuts.  Learn how to make something old look new and apply it to any project you make.  Explore your dark side where being covered in ink is expected.

Scissors, 

paper piercer, tape, liquid glue, spatula, paint bushes (2), Archival Jet Black.  If you have white gesso, distress crayons, multi medium glue, texture paste and distress inks bring them.  I will have a limited supply of everything for the class I will be sharing.

Give Thanks Fall Canvas with Dianne Sept 27

Dianne has created a beautiful new canvas to add to your fall home décor! There will be many steps involved in this canvas but is great for ANY level! We will be experimenting with canvas cloth, distress stains, sprays onto the canvas with art mediums such as gesso and texture paste! If you haven't tried a mixed media canvas before this is a good one to start with! Dianne will also be showing you how to use alcohol inks on metal, shaping and creating flowers, and so much more! This is actually a great technique class done on canvas!! As usual, we will have inky fingers by the end of the night! That, of course, adds to the fun! Let your creative spirit grow! This is the largest canvas Dianne has created so there are lots of fun embellishments and product on it!

Splatter Canvas By Amie!

Karla here today with a project that Amie, my 9 year old, came up with. She has become quite the little crafter! She attended a birthday party this weekend and wanted to add a homemade gift to the gift she purchased for her friend, and this is what she came up with!

She started off with a blank canvas and some Dylusions Ink Sprays. She created the splatter effect by taking the nozzle out of the bottle and tapping until she achieved the desired amount of splat!

How fun are these bright dots of colour?! She then Mod Podged on a diecut initial cut from some ombré cardstock and a cute little grasshopper cut from the Cricut Explore, since her friend loves grasshoppers.

She added some fun sequins to add some shine!

Here she is proudly displaying her project with her sister, Erica. I just love that they love being crafty! And her friend loved her gift!
