This class will take place in the workshop at Scrapendipity South and live in a private Facebook group. Two days prior to the class, you will receive an email invitation to the private group. The live class will be recorded so you will be able to go back and watch it on Facebook at your convenience.
Kits will be available for pick up at the south store by Saturday, Feb 26, 2022. Register by calling the south store at (403) 457-7790. Payment is due at the time of registration.

Feel Good Card Class with Nancy March 23, N
This class is designed to make you feel happy. Cutting circles and using embossing folders. Learn how to
design cards using circles in a variety of ways. I have a variety of embossing folders for you to try. And some awesome sentiments.
Regular supplies list is all that is needed.

Butterflies and flowers, what could be better for Easter? Let's have more fun with alcohol ink using the lift off technique to create 4 beautiful Easter cards. During this class you will learn how to de-ink an alcohol ink background for a totally new look, then add some die cut pieces for dimension and beauty. You will also learn how to curl your flower petals to add dimension. New to alcohol ink-- do not worry I keep it simple. Already using alcohol inks -come and learn how I do it.
The dies I am using are: Sizzix thinlits: Detailed Butterflies, Tattered Flowers, Circle Die Set
The stamps I am using are: Stampers Anonymous: Tapestry, Sizzix Bold Alphabet.
Supplies: Alcohol Inks, I like the Ranger brand but bring any other brand that you have. Colors: Sunshine yellow, Valencia orange. If you have a small stylus tool please bring it to class. If you have the Tim Holts Sizzix shaping kit, please bring it. The kit makes the shaping incredibly easy.
You can use my alcohol lift-ink Pad during the class.
The first flower and butterfly are included and you will make your own in class.

If you can not attend the class, but would like a kit, you can also email Shari letting her know how many kits you want, coloring medium you prefer, and which store you want your cards sent to. Kits are $5 each and must be prepaid by e-transfer before Thursday, March 3.

Copics! Distress Inks! Stencils! Stamps! and now Dies, with Shari March 12 S
So, Shari has designed four cards already for this class, and is working on a fifth! The twist - you get to choose which 3 cards you want to do in the class!!! Yes you read that right! YOU get to choose which 3 cards of the 5 you will make in the class. Shari has designed these cards so that you get to play with different mediums, stamps, stencils, Distress inks and more. So far the cards feature stamps from Hero Arts, Impression Obsession, Woodware, Stamping Bella, Pink Ink, and the final card will feature a Stampendous Gnome stamp. Watch the Scrapendipity Customer corner on Facebook as Shari will post the fifth card as soon as possible. This class is full of coloring and techniques, so the classroom has been booked for 4 hours!! Deadline to order your choice of the 3 cards is Tuesday, March 9th to give Shari time to get your kits ready. Due to the amount of in class techniques needed to complete the cards, this is only an in store class, kits will not be available to take home.

Who’s looking for one of those elusive guy cards?. No coloring necessary. Every embellishment comes from the designer paper. This is a quick and easy card with a message panel on the back where you can write your personal comments to the recipient. The front is set up to allow you to add your own greeting. This card is ready for birthdays, someone who is getting their first car or maybe a new motorcycle, and maybe even for Father’s Day. I have pre-cut all the elements for you – You’re welcome!
Bring your Basic Kit and come have some fun with designer paper. You will want to bring foam pop dots, liquid glue and double-sided tape to make your assembly a breeze.
Please email Doreen at bgscott@shaw.ca to reserve a time at the SOUTH store (403-457-7790) and indicate the number of kits. If you can’t attend a class but would like a kit email Doreen directly and indicate the number of kits and store you would like for pick-up. Payment is due upon registration and e-transfer is appreciated.

There will be no instructions for the cards, as it is just
layering. You may take photos of the cards when

The purpose of this take and make, is to give
you a couple of ideas on how to use your
foil and vellum cardstock.
Note: I have used Creative Scrapbooker White Superstock
for the Happy Birthday and Scalloped oval die
to give some dimension. It is my "go to" cardstock
for lots of things.
I have not included any gems as they are way too
fussy to separate...I know you all have some!
Getting Inky With Alcohol Class with Crystal March 26
Are you ready to get inky? In this class we will be using alcohol inks to create marbleized backgrounds, drip backgrounds, bubble backgrounds, and inky flowers. You will leave with an instruction sheet so you can replicate the looks at home and 7 complete cards. It is advised that you bring a pair of gloves and wear an old shirt just because we will be getting messy. Please call the North Store at 403-455-6772 to register for the class. Happy Bird-day is the theme this week for Shari's card featuring the adorable Honey Bee Stamps Love is in the Air set. You can choose to color these cuties with either Copic markers, or watercolors - Shari has used her Distress Ink re-inkers, and will have them with her, if you want to play with them.
Please bring:

COPICS 101 with Shari March 14, S
Join Shari in this 2 hour class where you will learn all about Copics and what makes them so special. You will learn how to choose colors using a fool proof method so you can color with confidence. You will receive practice sheets in the class, and then using supplied Copic markers you get to practice your coloring skills, before completing an actual card to take home!!
Supplies needed for the class are just your basic supply kit. If you have Copic markers, please bring them to the class.
