Stamperia class with Selena Designed by Antonis Tzanidakis Well, I got to take a class with this talented man, and now I can share my knowledge. This beautiful canvas starts out white and ends up like it's been hanging in an old New York store under the bridge for years, I had so much fun creating it I can't wait to share with you Date: Tuesday June 14 6-8 ish South Store Cost: includes canvas, 2 bottles of paint and 1 bottle of spray. Cricut Design Space with Wim, June 15, South

 

CRICUT DESIGN SPACE with Wim June 15 - 1pm to 5 pm South Store Scrapendipity Cost : $20 Design Space is the program used with the CRICUT machines   This will be primarily a teaching class on Design Space. I will be covering the fundamentals of design space How to load and cut materials for card making Various tools for Cricut We will discuss, explain and practice the basics. Design Space settings Projects, uploading and preparing the graphics onto Design Space There are many features in design space including Templates, Shapes and Images which can be used in making your projects. I will also cover Print and Cut, Resizing and Combining Cuts onto mats. We will be doing Text and have the Cricut write on our project. There are new features in Design Space including Phrases, Monograms, and Offset which I will explain and show the uses of.   We will be making a Card and Envelope using many of the features in Design Space Cardstock will be supplied You will need to bring : Cricut Machine (with latest version of Design Space installed presently ver 7.9) Please be able to run your cricut machine from your laptop either thru Direct connection (USB) or thru Bluetooth. Fine Blade Cricut Pens Mats Please bring any of the tools you may have i.e. Scraper, Brayer, Offset Tweezers etc. Tools, Mats, and Pens are available for purchase in the store Contact store for available space         403-457-7790 payment due upon registration

Make 'n Take with Shari, June 2 North

June is fast approaching and the time to celebrate Father's is just around the corner. This week Shari has taken a
Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram stamp set called "Dad's Cooking" and made an adorable card for a special Dad in your life. The inside sentiment can be for Father's day - "With Love to a Special Dad" - or for a birthday - "Happy Birthday", you just need to let Shari know which sentiment you prefer. You also get your choice of coloring medium, either watercolor or Copics. To finish off the card front you will be doing some paper tearing, antiquing with inks, and using a special product to make a shiny mat to frame your card front.

Please bring your basic supply kit as well as an ink blending tool, a light brown ink of your choice, and your coloring medium of choice - either Copics or watercolors, to the make and take.

Please email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca and let her know what time you would like to attend the make and take, which coloring medium you would like to use, as well as the choice of inside sentiment. 

If you can not attend the make and take, but would like a kit, please let Shari know which store you would like your kit to go to, as well as your choice of inside sentiment and coloring medium.

All kits are $5 each and must be prepaid before June 2 to Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca.

.. Hockey can't have all the fun we are ALSO going to have a Battle of Alberta!! The North and South store are in competition!!! What does that mean?? It means that whichever store North or South has the most shoppers on Tuesday and Wednesday will determine which location gets a STORE WIDE sale????? "Happy Campers" Make & Take with Kim Thursday, May 26th, North

Camping season is almost upon us, and these shimmery and delightful camp trailer-shaped cards (made with Honey Bee's Honey Cuts) can help inspire and get campers in the mood for another lovely summer in the great outdoors!  An ideal greeting card for the nature-lovers in your life, this week's Make & Take is offered in two color themes of blue plaid, or red plaid.  Choose which one you prefer, or even both!  Just be sure to advise of your color preferences upon ordering.  Please note that plaid patterns may vary in the kits, but will still be either the blue or red themes that you chose, as they are from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid or Christmas Plaid 6x6 paper collections.

Faded Jeans Distress ink (not Oxide) for blue plaid kit

Spring Flowers Make & Take with Pat May 26, North

The sun is shining and the birds are back and so are the flowers!! This cheery spring flowers cards is fun and glittery. Who says red and pink don’t go together, I think they do. 

Items to bring to class is your basic kit of cutter, scorer, bone folder, jewel picker, glue and tape. 

I will bring all other goodies. 

You can bring your own stamp set if you like for sentiment and inside card.
