June 7, Art Journal “Mermaid” with Kerri-Ann S

This month’s art journal page features Ciao Bella rice paper, gilding flakes and Tim Holtz Collage paper.

We will also be using stamps, stencils and metallic paints.    Kits will include Rice paper, Collage paper, a jar of Prima paint, a napkin, gems and a quote on vellum paper.  You will need to provide your own gilding flakes or Deco foil.  Your kit will include a detailed list of products you will need to have on hand for this class.

 

This class will take place in the workshop at Scrapendipity South and live in a private Facebook group.  Two days prior to the class, you will receive an email invitation to the private group.  The live class will be recorded so you will be able to go back and watch it on Facebook at your convenience. 

 

Kits will be available for pick up at the south store on May 1, 2022 but you can register now by calling the south store at (403) 457-7790.  Payment is due at the time of registration.

 “Fall Witch” with Kerri-Ann

This layout features several Tim Holtz die cuts, Distress Ink Pads, clear gesso, white gesso, and watercolor paint.  Let's get messy!  THE FACE IS NOT INCLUDED.  Everyone will need to find a face of their own choosing from a magazine that suits their own art journal size.  (My page was done on a landscaped sheet of 10x12). This will be an “in person” class held at the south store on Tuesday, October 19^th.  The class will also be recorded for the Private Facebook Group that you will be invited to join (approximately two days prior to the class).  If you are unable to attend the class at the store, you will be able to watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience.

Mixed Media art Page October 12 S

 

This mixed media project features Tim Holtz dies (Geo Insects and Entomology) paired with a gorgeous sunflower napkin. Let’s get messy playing with stencils, texture paste, and layered backgrounds. This layout can be done on any surface you choose, including an art journal, traveler’s notebook or canvas. Don’t have a notebook/journal? No problem, you can do the project on a plain piece of cardstock or mixed media paper.  When you pick up your class kit, it will contain a list of products you will need to have on hand in order to complete the class.    This class will take place in the CLassroom at Scrapendipity South. Two days prior to the class, you will receive an email invitation to the PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP created for this class. The live class will be recorded so you will be able to go back and watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience. If you are unable to attend the live class, that’s alright…just let the teacher know you will not be attending in person.    Cost: $20 Date:  Tuesday, Oct 12, 2021 Time: 6:00-8:00 pm Instructor: Kerri-Ann   Kits are now available at the South store but can be transferred to the North store upon request. Call (403) 457-7790 to register.

Take and Make July 15th with Holly 'MUST PRE-ORDER'

 Happy Monday from the Okanagan my crafty friends.

Join me on July 15 to create this fun summer card with a  unique fold.  This card reminds us to save the BEES.  Sizzix has a die that includes two different sized bees that you can use to recreate this card.  The cost is $5 per card kit.  Join me on Facebook live July 15 and I will show you some samples of other fun ways to change the look of this card.

As with all MY make and takes, email me ASAP to order your kits as I will be mailing them to the store on July 6 so they arrive in time for July 15.  (DO NOT WAIT TIL THE WEEK OF MY MAKE AND TAKE TO ORDER AS THEY WILL ALREADY BE IN THE MAIL)

Take and Make with Holly Happy Monday everyone. Wow! That's all I can say. Last months Tool bench make and take beat all my expectations. I had an overwhelming response and prepped over 200 kits. I apologize to those who where missing a piece. Email me and I will mail you the piece you were missing. I asked myself if I could top last months card? You be the judge! Unfortunately I am limited on the flower paper I used on this one, so I am limited on the number of kits as well. This kit does have some fussy cutting in it. (Sorry) This card can fit a 6 x 6 envelope or fold it in on itself and fit a 3 x 6  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to let me know how many kits and which store for pick up As always we can mail the kits to you at a cost of $5 plus $5 for postage. When you pick up your kits its best to bring cash if at all possible. I will do the FB live at 1pm on June 17 for anyone who wants to follow along. Happy crafting everyone

Take and Make with Holly Facebook Live on April 26th

 Happy Monday my Crafty friends. 

 Thank you for all the wonderful messages and emails after my last facebook live.  I think I am getting the hang of it.  Although I prefer in person or at least virtually in the classroom.

My next make and take is one that has been requested.  This is a fun 3D card with....of course butterflies.  I will do facebook live on April 26 so everyone will have time to pick up the kits.  I will also have colored step by step instructions to help assemble your cards.  Email hollyth@shaw.ca to reserve your kit(s) Cost is $5 per kit.   Please let me know how many and whether pick up will be at the North or South store.  It is best to bring cash when you come in to pick up.

Take and Make with Holly Happy Monday Crafty friends.  Sure miss all your happy smiling faces.  I hope the facebook live instructions are working for everyone.  If you have any suggestions or comments please email me. My next Take and make will be Feb 25.   We will create a great all occasion card, with another fun fold.  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to reserve your kits ASAP.  I will spend the next week prepping kits and like to have them in the mail 10 days before the class date.   When you email please let me know HOW MANY KITS AND WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP, NORTH STORE OR SOUTH STORE.  ALSO IF YOU NEED THEM MAILED OUT.  COST FOR MAILING IS $5 UNLESS YOU HAVE MORE PRODUCT TO BE MAILED THEN WE WILL JUST INCLUDE IT IN YOUR PACKAGE. When you pick up your kits it is very helpful to bring cash.  When paying through the till you have to pay taxes as well.

Virtual Make and Take with Holly October 22

 

Make and Take VIRTUALLY Virtual with Holly the "Hollygram!!" Its time for another VIRTUAL make and take with Holly. OCT 22 is the next virtual make and take. This interactive, pop up, floating, fall card is fun and easy to assemble. If you feel more comfortable with take and make, I will include assembly instructions and the kits can be picked up anytime after Oct 22.  You can begin signing up this week and into next week. LAST DAY TO SIGN UP WILL BE OCTOBER 15. I will be mailing the kits on Oct 16 to be sure they arrive in time for class.  Email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm. Please indicate in your email how many kits you would like. The kits are $5 each. I am excited to be able to see everyone virtually once again.
