Elephant CheeryTake and Make SOUTH with Doreen April 29

 

Take and Make SOUTH with Doreen I know there are some Elephant fans out there so here’s a bright and cheery card with a little friend to help you deliver your message. Because of the double-sided designer paper used you will receive either a green background or a blue background with the option to use the striped reverse side behind your elephant. I have added photos to illustrate what your options might look like. The flowers in the envelope are simple to color and this is a quick and easy card to create.  Your kit will only make one of the examples above.   You will need scissors to fussy cut the images, your favorite adhesive, foam pop dots for the envelope, elephant and sentiment and your favorite coloring medium. The Copic colors used are listed on instruction sheet in the kit.   Please email Doreen directly at bgscott@shaw.ca  to let her know how many kits you would like by noon on   Wednesday, April 28, 2021  and if you want to pick up your kit at the South or North store. Kits will be available for pick up at SOUTH store (403-457-7790) during regular hours on  Thursday, April 29, 2021 and at the NORTH store (403-455-6772) Friday, April 30, 2021.  Each kit is $5.00 cash or you can pay by e-transfer direct to Doreen

Junk Journal INTEREST LIST with Holly for June

 

This is not a sign up class yet Holly just would like to know who is interested please email her, when we have the complete list we will post for sign up :-) Hello my crafty friends.  How I have missed teaching!!  As many of you may remember, Selena and I took the Junk journal class with Blue Fern studios at Creativation last year and made this awesome journal.  Due to Covid I was unable to recreate this with you.  But I have now received all the paper and goodies to start prepping kits.  I am hoping early June to be able to visit Calgary and teach this awesome class, barring that, I will teach it by Zoom.  I have LIMITED kits, so would like to know how much interest there is in this class.  The cost will be between $75 and $80. ( I still need to purchase fabric and ribbon).   The journal is on display at the north store.  It will have different fabric lace and ribbon.   Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to let me know if you are interested.   No commitment yet, just want to if you are at all interested. Those who email me now will have first chance at a spot when I post the class.

NORTH STORE take and Make with HOLLY Happy Monday crafty ladies. My next make and take (take and make) will be on May 20. This is a fun masculine card but I will show you samples of other ways to create this card. It folds flat for mailing too. I know this is a bit early but this card will take me a bit of time to prep and get mailed so I wanted to give you lots of notice.  Please let me know ASAP and no later than May 11. Other than adhesive you will need some Nuvo drops or similar, to color the tool handles (if you want).  Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to reserve you kit(s). Let me know how many kits and if you would like to pick up at the north or south store. It is best if you can bring cash when you pick up, $5 per kit. As always the kits can be mailed to you or added to your existing order. Keep crafting and stay safe, I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. .

MIXED MEDIA NAPKIN ART “Faces” with Kerri-Ann May 18

 

This is a great class for beginners who want to dip their toes in mixed media but it’s also lots of fun for the

experienced crafter.  Napkin art is perfect for a traveler’s style notebook such as the Dylusions Dylog Insert Book.  It’s just the right size (and a great place to keep all your future masterpieces)!  Don’t have a notebook/journal? No problem, you can do the project on a plain piece of cardstock.

 

This mixed media project uses a decorative napkin as a border around a stamped image on collage paper.  Featured products include two of Dina Wakley’s stamp sets (Work in Progress and Silhouetted Women).

 

When you pick up your class kit, it will contain a list of products you will need to have on hand in order to complete the class.  You will receive an email TWO days prior to the class with an invitation to the live ZOOM meeting and PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP.  If you are unable to attend the ZOOM meeting at the scheduled time, you will be able to watch the recorded class on Facebook at your convenience.
