Come have some fun with Crystal creating three slimline cards featuring some new and old Lawn Fawn sets. This class features two shaker cards and another that gives you some ideas for using the Flip-flop stamps Lawn Fawn has recently been releasing. The sleepy sloth also has glow in the dark stars. They are sure to put a smile on your face. Not ready to come back to the classroom, not to worry, Crystal includes detailed coloured instructions so that you can put them together at home. Hello Everyone! We are finally able to have Make and Take in the North Store classroom again! The card this week is a fun one to send to someone "just because". Please email Monika directly at mmgilliham@gmail.com if you want to sign up to make this goofy character. Sign up for 10am, 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm or 4pm and how many kits you would like. Cost is $5 per kit. Bring your tools, pink markers or inks, and your coffee mug and we'll get crafty. If you are unable to attend but want kits they MUST BE PREPAID to MONIKA.

Mintay Album Class with Crystal August 14th N

Class: Mintay Mini Album

Time: 10-5 (With an hour lunch break)

Cost: $75 plus tax

Crystal fell in love with the Mintay Nightfall paper line as soon as she saw it and felt like a mini album was the best way to show off the beauty of this stunning paper. We will be altering a 49th and Market Foundations album to add flaps, pockets, and little hide-aways to tuck photos, journaling cards, tags, and memorabilia. Then we will finish the front cover using resin pieces and Prima metallic waxes. You will also be provided with a cut apart sheet and matching cardstock to mat photos and make the album your own. Space is limited due to availability of albums so payment upon registration is required to reserve your spot. Call the North Store at 403-455-6772 register.

Colourized Hippo Frames August 10th with Crystal N

Crystal has been at it again! This time she has Bernice the Hippo enjoying the sunrise on the Savanna. If you have you always been intimidated by the colorized dies by Tim Holtz, Crystal will help break it down layer by layer, with colour coordinated directions. She will walk you through step-by-step and give you some tips and tricks along the way to make these dies a breeze. We will be inking the background and pairing her with some Lawn Fawn die cut grass to really make her pop out of the frame. You will also be given some accent butterflies to include if you wish. Please note that frame colour may vary depending on availability. Call the store at 403-455-6772 to register.

I am so excited we are back in the classroom for make and takes as I can include more techniques for you to learn! This week we will be doing some ink smooshing, ghost stamping, and some easy water coloring to make this sweet floral card. I will have a variety of sentiments for you to choose from. This week we will focus on using 3D embossing folders and various inky mediums to create a distressed brick background for our butterfly focal point to create an all occasion card. I will have a variety of sentiments for you to choose from to make it your own.
