Scrapendipity Design Team

THE CURRENT TEAM OF TALENTED LADIES
Hello my name is Holly Thompson
I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years, and card making for about 5 years.  I met this amazing group of Scrapendipity gals about 5 years ago, after moving to Calgary from the Okanagan. I enjoy sharing my ideas and meeting weekly with a wonderful  group of ladies that join me each week for make and takes and coffee. I have been married for 38 years to an amazing man who fully supports my scrapbooking addiction.  We have 4 adult children and three grandchildren with the 4th grand baby due at the end of Feb.
Hello I am Lyndsey
I only starting to paper-craft in 2008, I am a bit of a late-comer to the
industry.  I have enjoyed many other art-forms previously, like knitting and
wool-crafting, and I have been making custom cakes since 2006, but
PAPER.....  Oh, how I love paper!!!  I love to make something from nothing.
I love the colors.  And I love that the possibilities are endless.  I look
forward to sharing my love of creativity with you.

Meet Dianne Mahura
Dianne has been in the scrapbooking industry for over 21 years. She started out scrapbooking her twins when they were 3 months old and after a year became a Creative Memory Consultant. After several years of that she gave that up, as home parties and selling was not as much fun as just creating and having fun finding products at other stores!
After several years she decided that making a home made card couldn't be that difficult if you could already scrapbook! She bought her first stamp at Zellers many years ago and the rest is history!
Over the years, Dianne taught classes at Michaels but her true passion became involved with helping customers and remembering every one's name at Scrapbookers Paradise. It was an incredible customer base along with awesome staff. We always had so much fun working there. Although we were sad to see it close, along with the other girls, we are the happiest doing what we do now!
Dianne has had some of her work published, has won  a few awards at Mesa Stamping Convention and the Calgary Stampede but her true passion is teaching others to watercolor, layer, and just have FUN!  She says that after a class is over she is so full of energy from teaching as it makes her happy to see the smiles on customers faces when they finish a class!
Howdy, My name is Crystal!
I am a single mom to a beautiful and energetic little girl. She has kept me busy, so I am glad to be delving back into my crafty passions. I started my journey in the arts at a very young age thanks to my mom. I've dabbled in jewelry making, knitting, cross stitch, theatre set design and painting and a about 7 years ago started my journey in paper crafting with the gals at Scrapbooker’s Paradise. My crafting style is always changing as I like to challenge myself but the majority of the time I gravitate towards clean and simple and cutesy images. I’ve been a part of a number of online blog design teams and can’t wait to get back into teaching and sharing my love for all things creative with you.

 THANK YOU TO OUR ALUMNUS
Carolyn is a mother to two grown children, and when her first child moved out she took no time whatsoever to change that bedroom into a well-stocked (can we say hoarder?) craft studio. She has been crafty her entire life starting with spool knitting as a little girl and progressing to the mixed media canvases that are her most recent passion.  As part of Scrapendipity, she has only taught a single class so far but she is actively working on conquering that phobia so look forward to seeing more from her in 2015!

Hi friends! I'm Karla - blessed with three wonderful girls ages 27, 8 and 3 and a fantastic, supportive husband. We all live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but I'll always be a Maritime girl at heart, as I grew up on the East Coast. My days are filled with play dough, tea parties, sticky fingers and swim lessons, but I always manage to fit in crafty time for my sanity! I've been crafting as long as I can remember. My mom was always recycling something old into something new for my sister and me, my Grammy knitted and my nanny sewed and crocheted. I'm so blessed to have had their influences in my life. About 14 years ago I was introduced to scrapbooking and it was a whole new world! This led to card making and mixed media. I love trying new things and have met so many amazing people on this creative journey! You can find me on my blog sharing crafty stuff at http://creative-love-affair.blogspot.ca/

Hi my name is Jeanne New,
I am a wife, mom, grandma and friend to many wonderful people. I have been crafting with this talented group of ladies for many years now. My favorite interests in the paper crafting area are, coloring with Copic markers (I have taken three levels of Copic certification) and I love making cards with the images that we color!! I am also a big fan of Graphic 45 papers and have been co-teaching with Lisa for a couple of years, mainly we do cards but also other projects with their fun papers!!  I have also done a bit of mixed media and some mini albums too.
I enjoy having the opportunity to create and teach!!
