GARAGE SALE August 7, North

More details closer to the date..... Table spots are sold out

The Garage Sale will be Sunday August 7 from 10-2 at the NORTH store we will have drop off dates the first week of August so we aren't bombarded with boxes in the classroom but we will accept the donations of items so we can start building the grab bags :-)

We need lots of shoppers of course also :-)

We will also accept crafty items donated which we will make goodie bags out of and all those proceeds will go to the Ukraine fund raiser.

We also need help updating our files

We are in the process of updating our computer, and we need your help, both stores have a form to fill out to help us with the process, and I wouldn't ask to work with no bonus so.... if you fill out the form you will get a coupon, actually 2 but the only way to use both is to visit both stores. Either way you can choose which side of the coupon you want to use, yep they are different lol

Make and Take, Chocolate Mint Swing Card with Pat, June 30 South

I love Chocolate Mint so made these cards with a choice of these colors.The technique again is so fun and amazing, the decorating is again so versatile and even the swing can be a different shape once you know how. I chose soft pattern paper and some pretty fussy cut flowers, and of course for us bling lovers there is a bit of that too!!

NAPKIN ART “July” with Kerri-Ann, July 21, South

NAPKIN ART “July” with Kerri-Ann

This mixed media project celebrates July in Alberta. As always, the project can be done on any surface you choose from a traveler's notebook, art journal or a scrapbook page.

Kits will include the die cut pieces, a decorative napkin, some stamped images and a template for the lettering. Your kit will also include a detailed list of the tools & supplies you will need to have on hand for class.

This class will take place in the workshop at Scrapendipity South and live in a private Facebook group. Two days prior to the class, you will receive an email invitation to the private group. The live class will be recorded so you will be able to go back and watch it on Facebook at your convenience.

Cost: $20

Make n Take With Monika June 30

It's silly season! These cute little frogs are floating happily in their little bubbles, out of the rain, and ready to bring a smile to anyone needing a giggle. They would be fun for birthdays, friends, parents, grandkids, grandparents, or anyone needing a lift. Monika used Copics to give them their colour but your favorite markers would be "toadily awesome". Bring your coffee mug, dark green Distress Ink and your markers and join us for some froggy fun! There will even be a few googley eyes on hand to amp up the silly.

If you are not able to attend but would like to purchase kits, please email Monika with how many kits you would like, which store for pick up and etransfer payment. Kits are $5.00 each.

You will learn interesting interactive pages, an exclusive binding system and many more techniques.

Cost: $75 full kit (spine fabric, trims and ribbons may vary)

Date: 13 August (6-8 hour class, 30 minute lunch break)

Video provided after the class for info to finish the project at home, mostly mating instructions and finishing where we left it after the class.

You must leave your email address at beginning of class to get the video.

You must bring these tools:

Pencil, eraser, paper scissors, fabric scissors, ruler, bone folder, stylist, paper glue (tacky glue), exacto, poking tool, fabric glue (3 in 1 or Fabritac), 1mm and 5mm punch
Scor board, paper trimmer, 1" circle punch, 8 1mmX 10mm magnets (magnets are not part of the kit, you must get your own ).
all the usual tools we need when working on an album
ideally a working mat with lines
corner punch (corner chomper) regular circle or fancier
