Fun Friday Fairy Tale with Pam

It is an ongoing personal mission to discover the
Fae folk. Every once in a while I find them.
"A lock of baby's hair,
Shells from an ocean far away
sprinkles of fairy dust in the air.
The key to a broken heart
 Some trinkets lost and found,
and there is magic in the air"

'Once Upon a Springtime' Graphic 45 re release
No tutorial, starts with a tiny acrylic shoe
and just a lot of fussy cutting
Mini Vial by Tim Holz, talk to Selena
A wine charm and bits from the stash
And here is a Fae Folk hiding place

Tattered Lace Magazine and New Goodies

The Tattered Lace Magazine is packed full
of step by step projects, instructions and
backing papers, plus a FREE die each month.
So what can you expect in this issue 6? Well let me introduce you to the “Days Out” Collection. This is all about the Great British Summer. Campervans, Caravans, Carousels, Helter Skelters, Ferris Wheels, Garden Sheds (or Beach Huts) and Buckets and Spades. Lots of fun and, for me and hopefully for you too, lots of lovely memories. We have two pages of templates in this issue, the fabulous Treasure Box, a bobbin shaped card and a spiral rose. All of them come with instructions and step by step photos. The complimentary papers this issue have, once again, been designed specifically for the projects.
This month’s free die is the Large Flourish free die. It is one of those dies that will be a “go to”. Perhaps as a gorgeous background, or used as foliage, or used as it was designed to be, a beautiful flourish!
So here we are with Issue 3! It’s a real doozy!
This issue, we have included yet more techniques and tutorials, and, with some arm twisting, we have the same number of backing papers (which, incidentally are just gorgeous!) We introduce you to some of our new Tattered Lace dies and get reacquainted with some favourites too.

Fun Friday Mini Book with Pam

front cover
Have you seen this Prima paper pack?
I love the new A4 size paper. Perfect for cards
mini's or scrapbooking.
For the cover I quickly emboss the edges
front and back with Black distress powder,
Then filled in the other areas with a stain by Tim Holtz,
you could also just spray it
I dug through the stash and made flowers
from the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die,
as well as some very old flowers that you twirl
together. They were the wrong color. Not a problem
just give them a heavy spray with one of your
brown sprays, let dry and they match just fine.
If you don't have a flower die, get one,
this is the best way to customize every
project, they always match perfectly.
I used the bits to fill in these pages as well
as tags for bits of info or more photos. There is
a small uncovered space, but a photo will cover
that eventually.
note the pocket rimmed with the beautiful
prima black sequin trim
back page ribbons and flowers from the stash
'Always check your stash for bits that will
fit your color scheme'
This album is an older one,
talk to Selena to see if she can get you one.

No photos mostly because I can't decide if I want to put travel,
my ancestors  or some of my junking photos.
 Probably ancestors.
What type of photo would you fill this little book with?

Fun Friday with Pam

Zombie's are baaack.....
To see these separately visit my blog HERE
Hints to recreate this: Start with blank white cardstock.
Get out a few fun templates and lightly stencil your background
I picked two colors from the photos and repeated them with each stencil,
just slightly repositioning each time.
Stamp your Casanova a couple of times,
I didn't want a complicated layout  so I just
left him as stamped on green card stock. After placing the photos,
I stamped the hearts and sentiments directly on background.
Then restamped the hearts on red card stock and fussy cut a few,
gluing them at random over the original.
Zombie Casanova is HERE !!!
