Copic Coloring Class with Monika October 18

 Class:  Copic Coloring

Date:  October 18th

Time: 12:00 - 3:00

Cost:  $30.00 for 3 cards 

Monika has designed 3 super cute cards for you to practice coloring with your Copic markers.  One is a shaker card and another is interactive.  All you need to complete them are your markers, foam tape and adhesive of your choice.  Insides and full color instructions are also included.

Make and Take with Monika October 8

 This week's project is a quick and easy slim line card using the braided circle die and super cute
little critters with a fall theme.  The sample was colored with Copic markers but any of your favorite markers will work.  Almost everything you need to complete the card is provided, including bits for inside and a full color instruction sheet.  

The only thing you need to complete this card are markers of your choice (Copics, Tombows, Zig, pencil crayons, whatever your favorite is) in fall colors, foam tape or dots, and of course, adhesive or glue.  Distress Ink in Scattered straw is optional.

Please email Monika directly at mmgilliham@gmail.com to let her know how you would like to "attend" this class and how many kits you would like. We need to know what time you would like to come in (this will need to be confirmed by email) or if you prefer to pick up at the store.  Each kit is $5 and will be available to pick up at the store during regular hours on Thursday, October 8.

Virtual Make and Take with Holly October 22

 

Make and Take VIRTUALLY Virtual with Holly the "Hollygram!!" Its time for another VIRTUAL make and take with Holly. OCT 22 is the next virtual make and take. This interactive, pop up, floating, fall card is fun and easy to assemble. If you feel more comfortable with take and make, I will include assembly instructions and the kits can be picked up anytime after Oct 22.  You can begin signing up this week and into next week. LAST DAY TO SIGN UP WILL BE OCTOBER 15. I will be mailing the kits on Oct 16 to be sure they arrive in time for class.  Email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm. Please indicate in your email how many kits you would like. The kits are $5 each. I am excited to be able to see everyone virtually once again.

Colorized Giraffe, Framed Class with Crystal October 24

 

Date: October 24th

Session #1 10:30-12:30

Cost $28 plus tax

Crystal has been at it again! This time she has Gertrude the Giraffe enjoying a snake on the Savanna. If you have you always been intimidated by the colorized dies by Tim Holtz, Crystal will help break it down layer by layer, with colour coordinated directions. She will walk you through step-by-step and give you some tips and tricks along the way to make these dies a breeze. We will be inking and layering the background to really make her pop out of the frame. You will also be given an autumn scarf accessory you can add or leave off.  Please note that frame colour may vary depending on availability.  Call the store at 403-455-6772 to register.

This week’s card is a super cute beginning of fall card. Tim Holtz’s sweet bucket die and wild flower thinlets are used to create the focal point, and again we are using Fun Foam for stamping leaves, creating our own backgrounds. To complete this card, you will need a stamping block, a paper trimmer or scissors and a ruler, adhesive or glue, and Glossy Accents. Fall colors of ink would also be beneficial. We are now open for “Make’n’Take” with some restrictions of course. We are only allowed 6 people at a time. Please contact the teacher to assure correct spacing. We are also offering the "Take'n'Make" option. If you do not feel comfortable with an "in class" situation, we understand. Just let us know that you would like the "take it and go" option when signing up.
