Dianne has created this stunning window pane hanging to display on your wall for Xmas! With 6 open areas we will complete the entire project at a class. Or a TAKE HOME KIT with full colour photos and instructions will be available also!

Make and Take with Lyndsey November 12

 

Make and Take every Thursday This week’s card is a really cute silhouette, winter card, using Tim Holtz’s Christmastime die. To complete this card, you will need adhesive, glue, a pencil, scissors and either tweezers or a pickup tool.  We will also be using the following oxides: Hickory Smoke, Broken China, and Mustard Seed. If you have any of those, or an applicator, please bring those, too. This will just help thing to go faster... Please email Lyndsey directly at lejamieson@shaw.ca to let her know how you would like to "attend" this class and how many kits you would like. We need to know what time you would like to come in (this will need to be confirmed by email) or if you prefer to pick up at the store. Each kit is $5.00 and will be available to pick up at the store during regular hours on Thursday, November 12.

We are now open for “Make’n’Take” with some restrictions of course. We are only allowed 6 people at a time. Please contact the teacher to assure correct spacing. We are also offering the "Take'n'Make" option. If you do not feel comfortable with an "in class" situation, we understand. Just let us know that you would like the "take it and go" option when signing up.

Make and Take November 5th

Make and Take every Thursday

November 5th Make & Take  This week's card is a unique folded arrow point card with a wintery theme. To complete this card you will need a pencil, ruler, scissors or paper trimmer and light blue, orange and black markers to colour the critters. Of course you always need your favorite adhesive and a scoreboard and bone folder would also be helpful. Holiday Colourized Frames Class with Crystal November 8th

 

Holiday Colourized Frames Class Date: November 8th Session #1 10:00-1:00 Cost: $35 plus tax Join Crystal for her holiday installment of colourized frames. In this class, you will create two frames from start to finish with Crystal helping you through layer by layer. If you have you always been intimidated by the colorized dies by Tim Holtz, this is a great class to start with. Crystal will provide you with layer-by-layer colour coordinated directions and will give you some tips and tricks along the way to make these dies a breeze. We will be inking, using stencils and texture paste, and adding shimmer, glitter and bling to make the focal images pop out of the frame. Please note that frame colour may vary depending on availability.  Call the store at 403-455-6772 to register.

Virtual Make and Take with Holly November 19th

 

Make and Take with Holly the "Hologram" Nov 19

Our next virtual make and take will be November 19. We will create these cute Christmas card luminaries. They are quick and easy and fit into a regular A2 envelope. Space on the back to stamp sentiment. You will need to supply your own battery tea lights. There are different background papers in the kits. Please email hollyth@shaw.ca to sign up for 10am 11am noon 1pm 2pm 3pm or 4pm. Let me know how many kits you would like. ( 1 card per kit )

We can only have 6 in the class room each hour due to Covid guidelines. So sign up early so there are no disappointments. You will need to sign up before Nov 12 so I have time to mail the kits to the store. The cost is $5 per card. As always if you prefer to do Take and Make let me know and I will have the kits ready for pickup or mail out on or after the 19th of November.

Happy Monday from Kelowna all my crafty friends. Thank you to everyone who has attended my “virtual” make and takes. Its been great to reconnect with all of you. Sorry for the little hiccup the first group experienced last week.
