Technique Art Journal Class with Sarah July 10 South

 

NEW CLASS NEW TEACHER! We welcome the talented Sarah to our teaching staff! She will introduce a "How to" with gesso in case you have wondered but been afraid to try! In this technique based class, students will learn the benefits of using gesso on art journal pages. We will create a page using the reverse stencil method and collaged stamped images to make a focal point. A bonus page will also be created during class.   Kits will include a bottle of Dina Wakley Gesso, geli printed deli papers, dictionary papers, one sheet of Tim Holtz heavy mixed media cardstock and one sheet of Dylusions mixed media paper.   Materials needed for class: collage medium or matte gel medium, paint brush, baby wipes, acrylic paints (Sarah used Dina Wakley acrylics but any acrylic paints will work), black posca pen or thin black pen, stencils and stamps. Sarah used Dina Wakley Scribbly Women but any stamps will work. Saturday July 10 from 1:00-3:00 pm  Cost for the class is $25 which includes the kit.
