Saltwater Spring Flowers with Dianne Dianne is back and has created some beautiful new cards using the NEW Saltwater Taffy ink for 4 of the cards! Come and learn some interesting backgrounds with inks, stencils and background stamps! We will be coloring on water color paper with oxide inks to create cards in a soft array of colors! Sunflowers with Dianne Dianne has been inspired by the new Graphic 45 line that has lots of sunflowers and bees! 5 cards will be made, including one as a tribute to the country of Ukraine. A percentage of this card class will be donated to. Ukraine family that has arrived with nothing.  We will be playing with water coloring, die-cuts and alcohol ink for some of the cards! Kits are available to take home but we would love to see you in the classroom! Let's have some fun together! MAKE AND TAKE with Shari March 21, N

Something a little different for next week's North store make 'n take! Shari just couldn't resist this
Doctor Mouse from Pink Ink Designs, and the sassy sentiment that is included with the image is perfect! Think outside the box for this one - it could be used for an illness or speedy recovery, but what about a snarky sentiment inside about old age!! Shari had to go way back to remember the sandwich for using dies to make the embossed background!, but after many attempts she succeeded!! Join Shari to color this image with either Copic markers, or watercolors.  Please bring your basic supply kit to the make and take.

Cost of the card is $5 each. Email Shari at s.mclaughlin8@shaw.ca to reserve your spot at either 10am, 11am, 12pm, or 1pm.  Please include the type of coloring medium you prefer when you email Shari, either Copic or watercolor.

If you can not attend the class, but would like a kit, you can also email Shari letting her know how many kits you want, coloring medium you prefer, and which store you want your cards sent to. Kits are $5 each and must be prepaid by etransfer before Thursday, March 24.

Please note that if you have not received a response from Shari within 24 hours of your initial email, please send another email. Shari's response to your email is your confirmation of your request.

Gell Plate Reverse Silhouette with Kate Fielder

 This tutorial you will be using a gelli plate to learn the art of reversing a silhouette image and blending techniques. You will practice with either oxide or water based inks.

This class is similar to the Lavinia style as shown in the pictures. Two cards 5½” x 8”.

Who's ready for strawberries?  We are!  Anticipate the coming season with us by making a card loaded with beautiful, red and plump berries that shine in this week's Make and Take!  A bright and cheerful card that will surely lift the spirits of both the maker and recipient!
