A little Mud

Last year my Friend Dale ran in the Mud Run, the pictures were hilarious, and I blew them up to 8x10 so I could see the Muddy details lol

Believe it or not, this is the C'est Lavie BoBunny line! Hard to tell with all the mud all over it, but here it is!

There are always letters to choose from but every now and then you have to personalize them a little more than what you can purchase. These letters were cut out of the Word Play die by Tim Holtz. I cut them out of white, then used Vintage photo stain and made splat marks randomly all over, when that dried I lightly inked vintage photo over top of the letters using my ink blending tool. I tapped rather than rubbed so it stayed light. Then I pop dotted the letters onto black, and fussy cut around to give the letters a border. It took while, yes, but I was so happy with the result. This would work great with paintball letters too!
I ripped a few edges and tucked, gears and bottle caps cut out with more Tim Dies.
A few of the letters I tied bits of string around, just for fun.
The pointing finger is also a Tim Die, and the saying "a face only a mudder could love" is actually from a Jeep ad years ago.... which I loved and now finally get to use on a page!

Have a happy scrappy day :-) Now, time to search thru those photos and find some pics you can Muddy up or splat with paintball colors! Head over to Scrapbooker's Paradise and get the shopping list, Ciao for now.

Out of all the things I have seen that you have done, it would be hard to pick a favourite, but, this would certainly rank in the top 5. I am glad I am not the only one who hangs onto that bit of ephemera for just the right moment. I hope you are going to give this to her to frame.
